Signs of a Miracle

Kuroko Tetsuya. The rumored "Generation of Miracles'" phantom sixth man. The "Generation of Miracles" is the ELITE Teiko Middle School Basketball Club where all the members stood above the rest. They were unstoppable. Whenever they stepped on the court to challenge another team it was already a certain loss for who they were facing. They could not have achieved this greatness with none other than Kuroko. Though, Kuroko had a different view of basketball than them in the sense that he wanted to enjoy the game and play as team, whereby all the other "Generation of Miracles" wanted the victory to themselves. They despised playing with each other. This why when the time came to go to high school, they all applied to different schools so they could carry the team's victory all by themselves. As they approached high school, they all begged Kuroko to join their team but he denied all their requests, which left him with none other than Seirin Academy, not very famous for basketball.

*1 year passes*

It is Kuroko's second year and with the help of both him and Kagami, they have been able to improve the Seirin Academy Basketball Club largely and they have become known for winning the InterHigh last year. They are over a 50 applicants all promising wishing to join the bsketball club which was a large improvement from last year. Riko (Seirin's coach) decides the best way to screen all the new applicants is a 5v5 game with the starters versus the applicants. So she put them into teams and they were ready to go. Kuroko gained possession of the ball and with no time to waist he used his cyclone pass to get the ball to Kagami as fast as he could. Kagami caught the pass and all the applicants were schocked. This was because they were amazed he could pass that well and even more suprised Kagami could catch it. Kagami leaped up and did a 360 dunk almost breaking the rim. All the new players were in awe of this amazing golden duo.

The game goes on, but Kuroko starts to notice some changes in Kagami. Kagami takes the ball up into the opponent's zone, shoves all the players out of his way and dunks as hard as he can. "Hey Kagami, that was a little harsh." Kuroko said worried for the new applicants. Kagami walked up to Kuroko slowly with a stern face, "Maybe if they were to train more who won't be such a wimp!" One of the players started to cry and chatters of Kagami spread across the room. Kuroko was shocked as he answered, "I knew you were changing but I refused to say anything, you're becoming like all the other Generation of Miracles." A tear rolled down Kuroko's face. "I joined this school to contradict their ways but you're becoming just like them!" Kagami started to smile and gradually laugh. Then he said, "Don't put me in the same category as those losers. If they were to face me they would grovel on their feet." Kuroko was terrified of the monster Kagami had turned into. And he boldly stated, "You need to be stopped!" This was Kuroko's last words as he stepped of Seirin for the last time.
