Chapter 1

"Well... this is way beyond a word I can describe of." I scratch my hair in anger.

"It can't be helped... since now the world is getting a turn for the best, we have overpopulation occuring!" A man with white robe stands in front of me.

I feel like flipping the table in front of him to show how unreasonable his sentence was, but sadly the tables needs time to produce and it's precious as it is rare for now.

I just look at him with a disbelief look.

"It's not our fault that there is no space for humans to live in since we need more talented people to help us." Another man with white robe and glasses said as he walk towards me.

So basically, it's because I'm of no use that I have to be a subject in this experiment?!

I sigh: " But I am pregnant..."

To my surprise, they scoff at my answer.

"So what?" The man with white robe laugh

Stunned by their epression, my mouth cannot move.

The man with white robe and glasses question: "Do you really think we do not know?"

I calm myself down. No, it's impossible that they know.

I laugh: "What do you guys know about?"

Both of them laugh hysterically.

It's as if I am a joke...

The man with white robe wipe his tears and stop laughing, "Ranjer, she is so stupid! We are scientists, we know everything. Yet, she thinks she can hide it."

The man with white robe and glasses which is known as Ranjer stare at me like I'm a poor thing: "Why would we let a ugly and talentless child to be born?"

I flinch at his sentence then I confront him immediately: "Don't say that about my baby! When his dad hears this, you'll all get what you'll deserve!"

They laugh yet again. I just stand there hoping they do not know.

Ranjer wipe his tears after removing his glasses and stop laughing, "Mijer, she really is stupid! We can get all the information from the doctors and yet she still doesn't know the skills the doctors has."

What?

Mijer stop laughing and look at me seriously: "We both know you are a ugly lass in disguise right now and you were not born with the talents you have!"

Shock by what he said and the photos Ranjer showed in front of me.

I.. I hope that this is just a terrible dream, but I know it isn't based on my experience.

"What do you want me to do so that both of you can keep it as a secret to everyone?" I ask practically begging.

Both of their eyes goes cold.

Mijer said while crossing his arms: "See? If you just willingly accept being a subject, it won't became like this."

I bit my lip, surpressing the helplessness within me. It would have been easy for me to take care of these two if my condition is better.

Ranjer shout in anger: "Now go in!"

I go inside the room.

Shiver went down my spine.

"What is this place..?" I ask as I turn around just to see the door being close by Mijer.

Ranjer laugh eerily: "We have been finding ways to send people back in time."

No that isn't it!

"I can only do this once, if it doesn't work then let me out and the deal is done." I said even though my instinct tells me that they are lying.

Although they didn't respond, they smile eerily.

I made a mistake!

I quickly bang the door, trying to break it.

They laugh: "Now we have finish the first step of our plan! Hahahaha" as they look at me while my surroundings become brighter.

I use all the powers and techniques I have to get out of the room I'm in but it didn't work.

It feels as if I'm losing everything I have including my baby!

I stop trying as I feel the emptiness overwhelmed me.

I get it now. They need life force and powers to make this world colder again.

My baby son and I am just returning to the nature that was once lost.

Tears flow down my cheeks, "I'm sorry for bringing you to this world, Edin."
