Even though Kaiden warned Hollow Stance, the casting speed of the Nightmare proved to be faster than his words. In an instant, Hollow was ensnared in the entrapment skill. Black, shadowy bars of mental energy restricted his moment as it shrunk to match his dimensions. Noticing this, Kaiden frowned. 

'It would seem their Spirit and Intelligence are quite high. That's the only way to explain such a high casting speed.'

Obviously, Kaiden began estimating their stats just like he did when he faced Grewl. In «World's Destiny» what they didn't tell everyone was that all attributes possess a subtle synergy. They weren't hidden attributes but rather effects. For example, when the effects of two stats such as Agility and Intelligence synergize, they create an effect known as Quick Chant. However, ample Agility and Intelligence were needed.
