The Yahontovs Have Fallen

Mansion of the Francis Family

One of the most lavish and most garrisoned exclusive homes in the kingdom was the Goldstein Village. It was the biggest village in the Kingdom of Diamond. There were only twelve properties in the village including the Francis Family's mansion, however, each of them occupied large expanses of land. The village was home to the family of aristocrats, high-ranking military officials and affluent people. Security in the village was much tougher than the major banks of the Kingdom. There were high ranking military officials who lived in the village hence, it was guarded firmly.

The mansion of the Francis Family occupied the largest land and the most luxurious mansion in the exclusive village, Goldstein. The palatial mansion was remarkable; the grand foyer contained a huge fountain, which was imported from the Kingdom of Emerald. The fountain was designed with Emeralds. The mansion also had a beautiful garden— a rose garden.

The garden was landscaped impeccably. One could tell that it would be difficult to grow a rose garden just by the look of the garden. There were roses around the fountain. The fountain was smaller compared to the one on the grand foyer. The fountain had a down-to-earth yet sophisticated ambiance.

Inside the living room of the mansion, there were four men conversing. There were seven enormously lavish chandeliers. It had radiant crystals that radiated the wealth and power of Francis Family.

"The Yahontov Family has fallen," A trustworthy blacksmith of the Francis family victoriously declared. Edward Hemsworth had been a blacksmith of the Francis Family for over thirty years. His hair was black as ebony. He had olive skin. His eyes were blue as the ocean waters. His demeanor showed deep reverence and respect. Although he was already fifty years old, many women still admired him for his looks and his well-mannered actions.

"We are so close on the road to our triumph yet, so far away," A man in his late twenties, inaudibly uttered. Alexander was 27 years old. There was only one word to describe the handsome man. His eyes were Emerald Green that gave a vivid view of the landscape. His lips were rosy-pink and thin. His nose was slender and rounded. A prominent jaw curved with poise around and the strength of his neck showed in the twining cords of muscle that would make him self-possessed and that shaped his entire body; strong arms, bold thighs, and calves, a firm chest, and abdomen. He was an Adonis among the other men who each pale in comparison. One look and both women and men fainted at the sight of him no matter their sexual orientation. The man was wearing a burgundy-colored tuxedo, with a white long-sleeve polo beneath.

"Have you done what I told you to do? You must never leave traces for, the guards of the Kingdom may perhaps probe us," Suddenly, Alexander felt a tinge of apprehensiveness. He was petrified of what might happen in the future. He stood up from his opulent sofa. The sofa was a piece of rare furniture in the kingdom, it was custom-built and was crafted with the finest quality of materials. The vintage furniture was previously owned by the Gravador family. The family was one of the last descendants of the royal family of Grenadia.

As he stood, he ambled towards the vast windows of the mansion. His eyes contemplated the view of the stars and moonlight beneath the clouds of the dark sky.

"Sire, are you not afraid of what karma will bring us?" Another man commented nervously. He immediately hid in the corner, afraid of incurring his master's wrath. The man's name was Eldridge Anathaway. Anyone might think that he was a member of a noble family with just a mere glance.

'I just want to dig a hole and bury myself there. I think it's too hot in here.' The room was in deep silence.

It lasted for three minutes until he uttered a reply, "I am not afraid of Karma. Why should I be frightened? Those Yahontovs have been using their wealth on such unworthy things rather than the welfare of our countrymen. Those imbecile people who continued blindly believing them, are now in pandemonium which serves them right. They keep on telling people that they have the divine right from God to serve the nation. What a joke!"

In the middle of their conversation, a man in his thirties evilly sneered, "You might be victoriously enjoying now, however, there are threats coming in the near future. People, there are gods and goddesses watching over us! Why do you think it's still a joke? Although there were also flaws that the Yahontovs had done, they still held a huge impact on the economy, social issues, and eradicating crimes in the kingdom, " he interrupted and frenetically replie.

The man secretly held a grudge against the Francis family. His eyelashes were long, his skin was pale and had a jade-like skin. With just a glance at him, many people could tell that all his blood was on his lips and was not equally distributed. He somehow looked like a Vampire. He had continuously debated it with his colleagues regarding rumors of him being a Vampire. However, when close friends of him would be asked, they could instantly tell that he was meek and upheld a sense of gentleness on his demeanor. The man was Cornileus Roberts. He was a close friend of the late Mikhail Yahontov, who was the king of the Kingdom of Diamond. He had a connection with the Francis Family because of the late king.

The Francis family held a powerful position in the government. In terms of military, they had a massive influence that they sponsored the budget for building military facilities and military weapons. The family had a huge Science Institute City situated in the capital city of Diamond. The Science Institute City was solely catered for scientists, mathematicians, and people in the medical field. The city was guarded tightly.

Although it was in the capital city, normal people would think it did not exist because of the exterior. The facility apparently looked like an abandoned building however, it was an unctuous facade, not luring people inside the place.
