Chapter 1: Part 1

* At a well-known Bar in BGC, Taguig City, Philippines *

"Boss, can i have another bottle of beer?." I said to the man at the counter.

Since it's Saturday, maybe there's nothing wrong with having fun, right? And besides, I am no longer a child who needs to go home early ..

I was surprised when I suddenly heard a scary voice behind me. I was scared and suddenly my hair stood up.

I think hagrid from harry potter just visit me! God is it time already?! Am i really going to Hogwarts now;?

"Pau, are you ok? You're already drunk;."

I could no longer control myself, so I suddenly stood up and looked at him. Whoever he is, damn I'm not scared at all. He looks like a big ass bartender but I couldn't see his face properly.

"Ahhh. Sorry boss. Yes, I can still manage myself and I'm not yet drunk. I can even manage to dance eh oh look!" I danced as I burst into laughter.

I stopped dancing when the crew suddenly hit my head. Gosh, i think my soul just leave my body.

"Wtf!? Are you crazy!? I know who's the owner of this bar. Just wait and you will lose your job!" I said to the man who takes away my soul with just a single hit

"Are you stupid? Of course we know each other! see? You're already drunk, you can no longer recognize me".

I suddenly grasp a bit of reality. I see the butterflies flying around my head and birds chirping inside my ear. I think, my soul just came back.

"Wait, Christian?" I asked.

I laughed hard when I realized it was really him.

Christian: Yes, who do you think it is, you dummy? I know you can drink bro. And of course, you can drink here as long as you want. I'm just worried about you and mostly, to your mom.

'C'mon chris ... It seems like you don't know me! I still can manage." I chuckled as I answered him.

But the truth is.. I am so dizzy and can no longer look at him properly. I looked at my watch and it's getting late.

Christian: You know what bro? It's not just normal for me that I often see you here these past few days. You used to go to bars with the whole gang. And beside, we don't hang out here! ... Anyways, Iet me ask you something ....

"Why? Am I not allowed to drink here when they are not with me? and look, I'm not alone. I am with you now!" I didn't let him finish his nagging. I laughed sarcastically.

"And oh, if you're going to ask something about girls, pass bro .. Cess might get angry and you know what will happens next. Do you want to die by beheading? ."

Christian: no, stupid! Are you crazy? Hahahaha. And since you already mentioned Cess.. Bro.. how long will you keep this up? When will you gonna accept the fact?

"Can't accept what? That she left her apartment to go back to their province? Fuck bro, We can still see each other and that's more than fine. We met twice and that happens everytime time I drink and that's why I'm here drinking again. You know, there's a possibility that she'll show up later hahahaha. "

Christian: you two met? Hahaha. c'mon bro, don't say such silly things.

He laughed as he answered.

I was surprised by what he said and by his reaction so I suddenly got annoyed.

"What do you mean? What are you thinking? Is she a Ghost or something? You're just stupid"

Christian: Bro, are you insane !? It's almost a year since Cess...

I could no longer control myself so I stood up in my chair and angrily cut what he was going to say ..

"Since cess what?! Bro, are you messing with me!?"

Christian: Bro.. so what I heard was true.

"Heard what? Ah, all right ... I'll guess what it is .. That it's true? I'm crazy? And I'm just making a story !? Do you really think im crazy!? "

Christian: I don't know pau. I do not know anymore.. Just finish what this last bottle and I will drop you at your house.

"Do you also think I'm crazy? Fck bro! No need. I can manage myself."

I went back to my seat and continued drinking. I was sensing Christian if he already left but I felt his gaze towards me at my back.

Christian: All right bro .. Do what you want and I'm sorry .. I'll leave you alone and take care of the other customers first. You don't need to pay, it's on the house.

And he finally turned around and went to another costumer at the tables. I just raised my hand and thumb to say "All right" I don't want to talk anymore 'cause I might say something bad back at him.

Honestly, I'm also getting fed up being me. It's just annoying that those people around you have the same thing towards you.

I am Paulo Montesinos .. 3rd year college and studying civil engineering at an international school in BGC. And just like christian, most of students in the campus thinks im insane.

Crazy to say that Cess is still talking to me despite what happened. Cess Palma is also a student at the school I am attending. But we are in different course. We are well known and admired by many. Specially cess. She was admired by the whole campus. Beautiful, kind, curly hair with sharp noses. I am certain that when you see her, you'll be mesmerized by her beauty. As for me, I'm just a student with stupid friends. All of them asked me how I manage to get a girl like Cess. Haha. I just answered them jokingly and say that I just gave cess a love potion. And because they're stupid, they really believed what I told them, what a bunch of fools.

I tried texting Cess randomly, drunk message as they say. We don't know the circumstances. maybe she'll show up again like before when she went to meet me at a bar in cubao.

"Cess! Where did you go? You're not even answering my messages!" a quote from a text I sent her.

I waited for a while. But just like my other chats and texts, she just ignored it again.

I tried to call her .. But as usual, she's not aswering.
