Keep the Goods Within the Family

A lot of the girls found Qin Yang's words amusing. It wasn't just them who found it funny though as several people from the crowd laughed as well.　　

Although there was no correlation between being good at fighting and hating fighting, he still taught those people a lesson in such an unforgettable way. How could he say those pretentious words with such a serious expression on his face?

Sun Xiaodong came over and exclaimed in admiration, "Qin Yang! I never thought you'd be able to fight like that with your figure. Who would have thought that you could beat people up like this? Have you had training before?"

Qin Yang just casually replied, "Well, I've learned a bit for a while; just enough to deal with a few little bastards."　　

Sun Xiaodong was shocked. "So it turns out that you really have had training before! No wonder you're so good at it. What did you train before this? Free combat, Taekwondo, boxing?"

Qin Yang deftly evaded Sun Xiaodong's question, "I just trained to keep myself fit."

He Tianfeng also came over with undisguised admiration in his eyes. He patted Qin Yang on the shoulder. "Qin Yang, you always kept your head down so I thought that you were a weak and quiet one. I totally didn't expect you to be this powerful!"

Qin Yang smiled as he replied, "They went too far with the bullying. I couldn't help it."　

"You're right! F*ck them!"

He Tianfeng also cursed them and laughed soon after. "With someone as fierce as you in our dorm, we could rule over the campus. If there's anyone who dares to question you, just beat them up and show the prestige of our dormitory. If they get admitted, i'll bear the medical cost!"

Qin Yang laughed as he raised his wrist to check the time. "It's almost 10 p.m. We've all had our fun, let's head back."　　

He Tianfeng wasn't done having a good time yet but he knew that the mood was no longer suitable for drinking because of the incident earlier. Still, he adjusted his mood and said, "Alright, let's go!"　

The group walked out of the door and left the bar. "It's still quite early. Let's send the girls back to their dorms first," He Tianfeng suggested.　　

Youyou and the others had no objections since they were only a ten-minute walk from the school. They still hadn't recovered from their excitement of what had happened earlier.

All of them talked and laughed as they walked back to school. The focus of their topic gradually shifted from He Tianfeng to Qin Yang. No matter if they were men or women, they were all curious about Qin Yang.

They dropped off Youyou and the girls in front of their dorm building entrance. Youyou smiled and said, "Thank you for the treat, Mr. Rich Man He. I'll invite you for a meal soon."　　

He Tianfeng laughed. "Sounds good! I'll wait for your call as always."　　

They headed back to their dorm building after bidding goodbye. Qin Yang smiled and said, "He Tianfeng, it seems that you have already gotten Youyou's heart." 　

He Tianfeng just smiled. "There's mutual attraction but we're just friends."　　

Sun Xiaodong asked doubtfully, "I thought you guys were a couple?"　　

Then, He Tianfeng started explaining,"Do you know how precious our lives are as a university student? We're in the English Department where there are lots of beautiful girls. Do you think I'll find a girlfriend to control me as soon as I step in? Restrain my soul? Restrain my freedom?"

Sun Xiaodong looked surprised. "Then, you and Youyou..."　　

He Tianfeng smiled and took cigarettes from his pocket. He offered one to Qin Yang since only He Tianfeng and Qin Yang smoked among the four of them.　

Although Qin Yang would only turn twenty next month, he already learned to smoke due to the influence of King Kong and the other Lightning Squad members. However, he was not addicted to smoking.

Qin Yang refused but He Tianfeng didn't force him. He put the cigarette in his mouth and lit it, then he took a long drag and blew a smoke ring. He smiled and said, "A man and a woman going out together doesn't automatically make them a couple. Maybe she just needs a man and I just need a woman. It's that simple."

He Tianfeng looked at Sun Xiaodong's stunned expression and patted him on the shoulder. "I think your chat with Zhou Han went well today. It's okay to flirt but even when you're in a relationship, don't take it too seriously. It's nice for everyone to have fun. Did you really think that you're going to marry her?"

Although Sun Xiaodong looked tall and sturdy, his heart was still weak when it came to feelings. When he heard He Tianfeng's words, he scratched his head and said, "I didn't think that far. This was just our first meeting."

He Tianfeng smiled and said, "I'll just remind you that when you meet a good one, you should catch her and give her your best. Don't be too infatuated with a girl who's not worthy of your true feelings or you'll get hurt."

Qin Yang squinted his eyes as he looked at He Tianfeng. "Sounds like you're quite experienced."

He Tianfeng smiled and looked at them with a proud face. "Do you know when I had my first girlfriend?"

He Tianfeng proudly answered before anyone answered. "I was sixteen years old! I'm only nineteen now, but when it comes to love and relationships, I've been through a lot. You should listen to me!"

Qin Yang smiled and didn't comment but deep inside, he thought that He Tianfeng was being very reasonable.　　

'If you find a good one who is your effort, you should use your best effort to get her. But when she's someone who doesn't care about you, who is not worth your time and money, it's better if you don't give her all of your heart or you might hurt yourself.'

Although Qin Yang had just met Youyou and the other girls for the first time today, he still managed to get a hint during dinner and while they were at the bar. Their attitudes toward He Tianfeng were different from how they treated the other three.

He Tianfeng suddenly became excited and changed the topic, "I found out about this before I got here today. There are several beauties in our year and one of them happens to be from the English Department—Han Qingqing. I heard she's super beautiful. Our two seniors from the welcome committee said they almost drooled when they saw Han Qingqing…"

He Tianfeng narrated all of this in a way that made the others very interested. Sun Xiaodong's eyes widened as he asked, "Maybe it's just an exaggeration? Is she really that beautiful? She'd probably be a head-turner."

He Tianfeng laughed. "I haven't seen her with my own eyes yet. We have classes tomorrow morning, we'll get to see her right? In fact, it is quite normal because the English Department is where the beauties gather. You just wait."　　

Qin Yang laughed. "After listening to you, it seems like you have some thoughts about this Han Qingqing?"

He Tianfeng looked at Qin Yang and the other two as he smiled. "It doesn't matter. If we all like her, then, my brothers, we'll have a friendly competition. It doesn't matter who wins; it's good enough that we keep the goods within the family!"
