Ling Fei reached over to grab it, slightly moist, but not noticeably so. It was just damp, probably from where she had dunked herself in the bathtub last night. She didn't expect the man to have hung it up.
It appeared to have been hung up since last night.
Enduring the pain in her body, she dressed herself at a speed she had never achieved before, and without putting on her shoes, which she carried in her hand, tiptoed her way to the door.
Just then, the sound of running water from the bathroom abruptly stopped, and her heart thudded hard in her chest.
She remembered at the last second that she hadn't grabbed her bag.
All her ID and bank cards were in there.
It would be a massive hassle to replace them all if she lost them, plus, she didn't want to have any more entanglements with that strange man.
She definitely couldn't leave her ID behind.
She rushed back, seized her bag, and just as the man emerged, she managed to dart out of the door.
Outside the door was a long corridor.
At the end of the corridor was an elevator.
Ling Fei sprinted with all her might to hit the elevator button.
The elevator doors opened quickly, fortunately, it was stationed on her floor. She stepped in and sighed with relief upon seeing the doors close behind her without anyone appearing.
She pressed the button for the first floor, without noticing which floor she was on, she hurriedly slipped into her shoes with shaking hands.
Song Tian Mo swiftly exited the bathroom.
He was wrapped loosely in a towel around his waist, revealing his long and muscular thighs, oozing with strength.
His hair was drenched.
He casually grabbed a towel to dry his hair and walked toward the bed.
There was only a messily made bed in his view.
The woman who had spent the night with him was nowhere to be seen.
His eyes narrowed slightly.
Turning around, he noticed not only did the woman disappear, but so did her dress and backpack.
The main door was slightly ajar.
He strode towards it, pulled it open with a bang.
The corridor was deserted.
He raised one eyebrow, then closed the door.
He returned to bedside once more.
Tugging the towel off his waist and slipping into his clothes, he noted that it was already close to eleven o'clock.
Rather than rushing off to the Song Corporation's branch office, he sat down on the sofa, staring at the messy bed and the eye-catching crimson in the middle, lighting a cigarette with ease.
Exhaling a slow puff of smoke.
His handsome face looked even more noble and reckless in the hazy smoke.
As the elevator arrived at the lobby, Ling Fei quickly exited.
Exiting the elevator led to the hotel's lobby.
Apart from the hotel's staff, there were a few people checking out.
To avoid attention, Ling Fei lowered her head slightly, running her hands through her hair so that it fell naturally along her cheeks, partially obscuring her face.
Clutching the strap of her bag tightly, she headed towards the door quickly.
A black BMW sedan approached from a distance and parked at the hotel entrance.
The doorman standing upright at the entrance quickly went to it.
A young man, handsome and extraordinarily elegant in a suit stepped from the car, handed the keys to the awaiting doorman, and strided towards the hotel.
Ling Fei turned pale.
She staggered, almost falling.
Chu Luo!
She couldn't believe she was seeing Chu Luo here!
Her mind went blank, her anxiety peaked. Not bothering to think, she turned suddenly and jogged back into the hotel with her head down.
"Miss, what's wrong?"
Seeing her uneasy expression, a conscientious member of the service staff, with a sweet smile on her face, approached her.
