Ling Fei had finished filming her scenes by the afternoon.
When she returned to the neighborhood, it wasn't even four o'clock yet.
After eating and taking a bath, Ling Fei went to bed early, burrowed into the quilt, and even deliberately put on an eye mask, ready to catch up on some much-needed sleep.
Before attending the dinner, Song Tian Mo first called Ling Fei, knowing she had already returned home, he immediately asked, "Have you packed your things? If you're ready, I'll send Li Hou to pick you up."
Ling Fei was groggy from sleep. It took her a moment after hearing Song Tian Mo's words to remember the thing he had mentioned that morning.
"Picking me up? Where to?" Ling Fei wriggled out of the quilt, curled her lips, and lazily feigned ignorance as she questioned him.
There was a moment of silence on the other end of the phone, then Song Tian Mo's low, magnetic voice came through, "Of course, back to the apartment. Did you just fall asleep? Did I wake you?"
