Father Zhu knew very well that all Yang Xinde wanted was to get a few of those extraordinary talismans from Bocheng's friend. In the end, however, he curbed his greed and didn't immediately agree to Yang Xinde's request, but had Zhu Bocheng pass it on to that little girl, Shuyan.
He was very interested in the two pieces of land in Hengdong and Hengxi, but Father Zhu was still a man of principles and didn't forget the favor he owed the little girl, Celestial Master Chi, for saving his son and wife's lives. Bocheng said he wanted to woo her, and whether or not she would really become his daughter-in-law, Father Zhu didn't intend to interfere in this matter either. He would pass the word on at most, and let her decide. Besides, those talismans truly were extraordinarily good stuff. Father Zhu felt that even exchanging those two pieces of land in Hengdong and Hengxi for one Protective Talisman still wasn't enough.
