19. I'm sorry

Raya lift up her legs and put front her chest while keep staring her phone. She could feel her heart pain and betrayed by mother that she trust with her life. Mother who always she defend and stay by her side no matter what happen. But in the end that woman who betrayed her and throw her down deep in the hell of her life.

If she hate her so much, why she let her marrying her daughter lover. Why she opposed her own daughter to marrying him? If she is not her mother, then why she born early than her own daughter? Is she illegitimate daughter? But her father love her dearly. So many question appear one by one inside her. The questions that she can't found it due to her early death before.

She slap gently her own cheeks to make her wake up and stopping the unnecessary depression. Second life already given, she should to change her own fate to be better and protect her precious people around her.

Once again she looks her phone move her point finger searching important phone number. She press the number after find it and waiting for the answer. Not long after second ringing, a gentle and soft voice greet her. She is Stella wu, her father new wife after divorce her mom.

In past life Raya really hate her because replaced her mother position. But not even once she scolded her or even hate her. The mother figure that she needs everything are on her new mother. Her new mother really treat and love her as her own biological daughter. Stella wu is just ordinary woman that came from average family. Her parents is just small teacher in elementary schools at small city.

First time she come to Raya's house, she use simple and average clothes not more than 1000 dollars. She is looks so timid and naive. Whenever Raya's father angry to his daughter due to her arrogant behavior, Stella always defend her hugging her to protect her from hitting.

But unfortunately Raya too blind and treat her step mom worse. Mother who always she miss and love betraying her, while step who she hated the most is the one who care, love and treat her sincerely.

''Mom, it's me....Raya.'' She speaks softly urging her tears to come out. The guilty feeling and embarrassing makes her nervous.

Stella shocking left her speechless still disbelief about what she hear. For many years she being step mother, this is the first time Raya call her - Mom. Slowly unintentionally her tears flowing slowly wet her face. "Ye...yes...How are you?'' She stuttering panic when hear Raya voice again calling her - Mom.

''I'm fine mom. How about you?'' Her lips curve up showing her dimple showing hidden happiness inside of her heart.

''Go..good....your father also good. Do you want talk to your father?'' Her eyes sparkle and smile on her face never disappear while talking with Raya.

''Yes, mom....'' Raya talks with smile and her brighten eyes.

Stella rush to call her husband and keep showing her happiness smile even when she talks to him. Rich Wang, Raya's father startled seeing her wife so happy. The rare view he could see since she become his wife.

''What's going on? you looks unusual happy today.'' Father Wang glance his wife curiously.

'' I tell you later, hurry up answer your phone.'' Madam Wang pull her husband while keep give away her phone.

'' Dad, could you help me...'' Raya explain everything right away after hear her father voice.

''It's a rare situation you asking me help, especially for your cousin who you really hate much.'' Father Wang still upset and annoyed about her daughter misbehave. Madam Wang who sit right beside him, hit his hand protest her husband cold words. She glaring him angry then leave him behind.

Father Wang just stand there speechless wide eyes seeing his wife sulking. ''Ok....I'll do my best.'' Right away change his tone and agreeing his daughter request.

She showing little smile then continue with her soft and sobbing voice, '' Dad, I'm sorry. I really sorry for everything.''

Tut...tut..tut.... Father Wang speechless and can't say another because Raya already hang up her phone. He press his temple sighing. Father Wang could feel her daughter changing. Now he feel guilty to being harsh before and agreeing his wife protest.
