[HERE IS THE FULL CHAPTER...ENJOY🌈]
The fish market of Kai capital was a hectic place to visit in the morning. The place was built circled by high walls and attached to it, was only one gate made from tall and sturdy iron bars that served both as entrance as well as exit to the fish market.
[HECTIC- CHAOTIC; BUSY]
In the first hours of it's opening, fishermen would sell their best catch and the quality was assured. Thus people would like to crowd outside the gate earlier than sunrise, leaving bare enough space fit to squeeze an ant in between their flock, waiting for the gate to open so that they could rush inside first and get their hands on bestest fishes, crabs and shrimps.
When Suyin arrived at the fish market the huge ball of fire which should have been above his head was now slowly sinking down the high hill mountain on the West. The market was busy closing down. Since everything was mostly sold off Suyin bought a regular fish and strolled around a while to try out his luck, thinking if he could by any chance make a good catch. And the reality didn't let him down because very soon his vision caught a strange yet amusing fish.
He went closer to the particular stall where the strange fish was laid out on the long wooden table ; alone and lonely. The outward appearance of this fish was nothing extraordinary rather what attracted Suyin was it's eyes.
"Divine. It has got golden eyes.Brother, sell it to me. Name the price."
His excited tone succeeded in waking up the stall owner from his deep slumber. The fisherman leaned his whole weight on the bamboo pole behind him, his legs out- stretched crossing over other one and his face was covered with a bamboo hat. He lifted his hat a little, sized up Suyin twice and then refused in a grumpy tone-
"This fish isn't for you, brat."
The fisherman then returned to his dreamland again but how could Suyin leave it just like that. His stubbornness can bring Heavens infornt to him begging beside his feet, so what was a mere fisherman compare to it ; nothing at all.
Suyin shook the bamboo pole on which the napping fisherman leaned his weight. The fisherman slid down and directly fell to the ground on his butt. He grumbled painstakingly rubbing his hurting buttocks and stood straight glaring at the mischievous kid.
"Stubborn kid this fish isn't for you. Do you not understand human language!"
"I said sell it to me. Name the price. And it's not like, I had either asked for a rainbow fish. You stingy old fart!"
The mention of the rainbow fish made the grumpy fisherman size up Suyin for the third time. This brat was hell stubborn!
"Here. You can take it for free."
Saying so the fisherman carefully looked at left and then at right. After making sure that no one was around except for them he closure up Suyin and whispered lowly-
" This young master. To tell you the truth I happen to indeed catch a rainbow fish. Would this young master like to take a look."
Suyin raised his eyebrow. The visible change he sensed in the fisherman's tone was faster compared to a chameleon changing it's bodily colour. Nevertheless, he agreed with the fisherman then he was taken to a shabby hut far away from the market's initial.
The fisherman welcomed Suyin inside his shabby hut and he himself brought over an ordinary looking fish from somewhere. Precisely the fish was boringly dull the only exception was it's eyes. One of them was darker than a moonless night and other was painted with seven colors like a rainbow itself. It couldn't have been more creepier. But for Suyin this particular strangeness was like some captivation.
"Interesting you did a great job. But what I want is not the fish...."
Suyin praised the fisherman, greedily watching the rainbow color eye.
"This is it. I want it's eye.....The colored one..."
Anyone who heard Suyin making such an absurd request would have been scared pale but the fisherman, not only was he not scared but also his eyes shone more excitingly. The lingering bit of misty doubt cleared up in an instance. Showing off to the youth his clean and swift knife skills he quickly dug out the rainbow eye, washed it clean, wrapped it in a clean piece of cloth and then offered it to Suyin.
"May I ask if this young master was sent by our Young Lord."
Suyin didn't answer instead he turned his attention from the round piece of cloth in his palm to the fisherman and looked him with an expression that says- Are you still unsure?
The fisherman clearly understood what Suyin wanted to convey through his gaze. Overexcited the fisherman kneeled down in a greeting posture-
"May I request this young master to pass on my greetings to our Young Lord."
"Alright."
Suyin agreed with his request. It wasn't something difficult to comply. He stood up and bid farewell to the fisherman.
The fisherman slowly straighten up from his kneeling position and said to himself.
"Sure enough. Old Dan didn't lie. Our Young Lord has finally returned."
