The new place Aarie took Rose was known as the Marshlands. Where horde, alliance and the mixed groups came by to visit. It was a different place, but it was very popular do to it's rare beauty of the huge mushrooms and blue lands. They discussed some iffy family matters together getting to know one another better. Rose was still a little hesitant on finding out Aaries true form of being a half blood elf and half night elf. Her love still is growing for him, slowly it's growing, but she wants to stick by him for a long time. Slowly gaining trust for him. Aarie on the other hand has some slight PTSD do to what his X put him through because she was pure blood elf. A ruthless bitch at that.
The crickets where loud and in sync with one another making the iffy marshlands seem more calm. Owls hooted in the highest glowing mushrooms. The stars and planets shined brightly making their skin glow. Aarie and Rose where getting tired. It was past 11 at night.
They leaned against the mushroom that was growing out from above the one they where on top of looking up into the starey sky. Roses eyes began to get heavy, she stuck her head on Aaries chest resting it there. She heard the steady beating of his strong heart. Making her feel comforted. He stuck his hand on her head stroking her hair gently.
"I promise you I will never hurt you. I'm sorry it took awhile for the confession once again..." he said looking off into the distance. Rose sighed and said "it's fine Aarie." She snuggled her face in his chest breathing in his scent. He looked down at her wondering what he got himself into with this gentle and innocent soul. He doesn't want to mess anything up with Rose, even if his life depended on it.
Aarie let out a light sigh. "What am I going to do with you Rose ?" He asked suddenly. This question caught her off guard. "Uhh I don't know ?" She said not knowing what he meant by this. She went to close her eyes again this time almost letting the sleep take over her. "Hey don't fall sleep yet... it's not quite safe here for us." He said as he stroked her soft pink cheek. "Then why'd you take me here? You said I can trust you." She blatantly stated.he shrugged his shoulders. "I also told you that I would sacrifice my life for you too." He smiled pridefully. Rose rolled her eyes. "Ok then." She said stretching and sticking her hand around him. She quickly faded into sleep. Aarie stared at her not wanting to move just yet. 'Maybe I'll give it a few more minutes then we will leave back to the village.' He thought to himself. 'I want to make you stronger and more brave' he said in his head staring at this beautiful elf lady. 'We will go on so many adventures, even to more forbidden lands that not many have crossed over.' He smiled thinking this.
Aarie let out a quiet yawn. Bending down to kiss Rose on her pink cheek he slowly lifted her up off of him to set her on the ground. He turned around to look at Snow. She sat there patiently looking at her master purring. Her white eyes glowing with the stars. "It's time to head home Snow." He said quietly. He then gently picked Rose up. Her eyes fluttered open. "What the heck are you doing ?! Why are you picking me up?" She yelled not wanting to be bothered. "It's time to go home now." He said sticking her on the cat. He jumped on behind her. "It's way too late to be out here in the Marshlands. It's too dangerous." He said with a worried tone.
Rose let out a sleepy and irritated sigh. "Ok, I believe you. Thanks for keeping me safe..." she mumbled as the cat started running into the mushrooms one by one. They headed back into the same direction they came. Thankfully it was a clear night with the stars and planets being visible with no clouds.
