Back to Stormwind

Aarie and Rose decided to head back to the kingdom of Stormwind, but what Rose didn't know is that Aarie had a plan to destroy the king and whoever served him. He wanted to gather anybody he could to fight with them.

"Are you sure it's safe for us to head back now ?" Rose asked Aarie as they started walking from Groggum then up North towards Goldshire. He smiled at her and answered "yes, I have a plan, trust me on this." He winked at her with his bright green eyes.

Rose sighed and looked at the trees as they passed them by. "It's such a nice day out, prefect weather for a walk. Hey, what about using your cat?" Rose asked him wanting to ride the cat again. Aarie lifted his red hairy brow at her in question.

"You want to ride Snow again ? I thought you didn't like riding her, you got pretty scared when you where on the back of her. She lives in Twilight Forest. I'd have to go down South to get her, but since we are traveling up North, maybe another time." He smiled sweetly at Rose.

Rose nodded, and saw a little black cat in a tree near the road that they where walking on. "Aww poor kitty looks like it's stuck." She said worried walking towards the black kitten. Aarie followed her. "It's fine, it got itself up there it can get itself back down. We don't have time, let's go." Aarie said gently pulling Roses shirt to walk back onto the road.

The black kitten meowed softly with its green eyes. Then it got down from the tree. Aarie smiled at Rose and said "see told you, now let's go." Rose patted the kitten on its head gently.

"Bye kitty, be safe." She waved at the kitten. A girl came out from behind the same tree that the kitten was on. She had short brown hair and brown eyes. She smiled at the couple as she picked up her kitten holding it tightly in her arms.

"Oh, hi sweetheart. I thought your kitty needed help out of the tree, but I guess not." Rose said waving at the little girl, "have a good day." And the girl just smiled shyly back at Rose.

Aarie waved at her as well. The girl was a 10 year old human priest. "Thank you miss." The girl said, then she turned around to walk back home.

What Rose and Aarie didn't know, is that the young priest girl works in Stormwind. She is actually very smart for her age as well, she's an important person that belongs to the society of the healers.

As they neared to Gold Well that's up North, Aarie turned around to see if any one was following them, but the road behind them was clear. Rose held his hand tightly.

"I really don't want to see that man again." She said staring at Aarie. She looked afraid and he didn't like that.

"Don't worry. I got you. I kicked his ass recently, and I'll do it again." He smirked proudly. "Plus that man is pathetically weak, you should of seen me kick his ass." Rose stared at him sighing.

"I have yet to see your best hunter skills. I've seen you kill a wapertinger, and climb a tree and jump out of it like a cat. It was interesting." Rose let out a smile from what she saw Aarie do before.

As soon as they got up to the old well in Gold Well, Rose paused looking at it, "what ? Did you want to make a wish or something?" Aarie asked at her smiling. She shook her head. "I've said this before to Mike, I don't wish on wells. Maybe it's fun for others, but meaningless to me." She said shrugging her shoulders.

As soon as they walked into the kingdom of the Stormwind castle, they saw all kinds of people gathering around for several booths of goods being sold, this time some of the booths where selling animals.

There was a booth with an old lady that had two buns on either side of her head that had dark grey hair, and she was selling cats of different colors and sizes. They looked very well trained and sat there receiving treats for being on their best behaviors. The old woman smiled with her squinted eyes.

"Come on over and buy the best behaved kittens in the kingdom of Stormwind! You will not be disappointed I guarantee you." The short old woman said happily, she was combing a little fat grey kitten with green eyes. He sat there purring up a Storm.

"Mommy I want that kitty right there !" A little girl said pointing at the grey kitten wile holding her moms hand.

Rose smiled at all the little cats and kittens being displayed. "I want one." She said looking up at Aarie. He shook his head at her. "No, sorry maybe some other time." Then they walked through the crowd seeing another booth of people being gathered, it was a booth with teddy bears and dolls dressed up in little fancy outfits.

Rose caught sight of a familiar face standing in the distance, he was at the auction house that was held inside a building. Rose looked at Aarie and said "I think I see Mike. Haven't seen that guy in awhile. Can I go talk to him ? He just went into the auction house." Aarie stared at her for a second. "Hmm, ok. But be back in about 15 minutes. I'll be looking at some weapons."

As Rose entered inside the very busy auction house, she saw Mike standing there trying to bid on a medium sized knife. She pushed through the crowd to get to him.

She poked him on his back. "Hey Mike." Rose said with a smile. He turned around looking at her with surprised white eyes.

"Rose?!" He said and went to give her a giant hug. She wasn't expecting this. He crushed her a little with his strong arms.

"Mike, I can't breath your hugging too hard." He gasped and let her go. "Shoot sorry."he said with a smile showing his Wargan fang.

"I wasn't expecting to see you here Rose." Mike said tilting his head looking at her. "What are you here to buy?" He asked her, but she shook her head, "I'm not here to buy anything, I saw you through the open door standing in here and wanted to speak with you. The king did something that I want you to know of..." she said and then looked into the crowd not meeting Mikes gaze. He went to cross his arms around his chest.

"What did the king do that you need to tell me of?" He spoke not so softly. Rose hesitated not sure how to answer Mikes question. She then pulled off the blue scarf from around her neck and showed Mike the fresh bite mark scar the king left on her delicate neck.

Mike growled seeing this. He has grown fond of the young woman being chosen as her guard, he wanted to protect her at all costs, it's in his blood. He winced his white eyes staring at her neck.

"So... Draven did this to you." Mike said. It wasn't a question. Rose nodded and put the scarf back on not wanting to draw attention to herself.

"Yeah... the king that you serve took advantage of me." Rose looked at Mike and her eyes welled up with un shed tears. Mike took his right hand and dabbed her eye gently underneath catching her tear.

"Well, I'm pretty angry seeing your neck in that state. The king can be a dick at times, but to an innocent women. He will have to pay for this." Mike clenched his fist in the air. He started shaking with anger.

Rose backed up some. Afraid he would shape shift into his wolf form.

"Mike, there's too many people in the way to shape shift... why don't we go outside?" She asked and scooted outside the open door.

Mike huffed loudly and grabbed his brown bag to follow Rose outside.

As soon as they got outside he stopped shaking trying to calm himself. He stared at Rose and motioned for her to come closer to him.

"What is it?" She asked Mike, and he gave her something that was in his brown bag. Rose opened her hand to see it was a necklace with a small white stone in the middle of a cross.

"What is this for ?" She asked looking up at Mike. He smiled at her and said "it's my blessed necklace, why don't you wear it ? it'll help protect you some." He took it out of her hand and stuck it on her neck without her saying if she wanted it or not.

"But Mike... it's yours not mine." She said holding the cross charm in her hand. He shook his head "it's ok, wear this for when you are in Stormwind. I'll ask for it back when I'm ready." He smiled at her stroking a peace of her hair. Rose furrowed her brows and sighed.

"Mike, I have a boyfriend." She said shaking her head with red cheeks. He chuckled at her. "So what ? He's not your husband. I'm your friend, so I have the right to give you things too."

She looked back down at the cross necklace and thanked him for it.

Walking towards Aarie they both weaved through the crowds of people in the kingdom. Aarie saw Mike standing next to his girl, he frowned some but let out a sigh, and went towards Mike to speak to him about the king.

"So I'm guessing she told you what happened ?" Aarie asked Mike. Mike huffed with new bottled up anger. "Yep. And he is going to pay for it. I will not serve that man any more." Mike said and he shook a little saying this.

Aaries eyes lit up. "Ah, so now that I have you on my team, this will be easier to accomplish. Mike do I have your trust?" Aarie asked taking his right hand out to Mike to shake it. Mike smiled and said "yes, you can trust me." Then they shook hands finally.

Rose was enlightened that these two where seeming to finally get along now.

"We need to come up with a plan. One where he won't expect us." Mike said "I know of a way to sneak into his work room." And they looked at each other unsure of what will happen next, but the couple followed the guard named Mike underneath the tunnels of Stormwind.
