Later that night, the Research team went to a Sichuan restaurant since majority of them love spicy food.

This restaurant also is famous in the entire capital because the whole ambiance indeed hold a traditional yet elegant decorations fit for a royalty. After all, the restaurant is a subsidiary of Han Industries and you need to make sure you first made a reservation because it's always packed with customers every night!

They ordered food with no hustle and waited for quite sometime before the food arrive but because they were many of them, no one experience any dull moment, even Fan Xifeng who wasn't engaging in any conversation didn't feel bored at all just listening to the chattering around her.

"Team leader Jing, I heard you were raised and graduated abroad, can you share us your experience there?" The conversation turned silent when Cheuk Rongfang seemed to pull Fan Xifeng in the conversation.

Fan Xifeng smiled and answered briefly, "Everything is different there compared here. The culture and environment."

"Oh, it's amazing that you are still fluent with our language."

"We speak our language at home."

The rest "Oh" sensing that Fan Xifeng seemed not open to talk about her personal life and it's quite understandable. As soon as the food finally arrive, they started eating with some drinks to pair up the spicy food.

Fan Xifeng didn't reject the alcoholic drink but she made sure she takes it with moderation, just good enough that she won't become tipsy after this. No one else bothered Fan Xifeng anymore after witnessing that she politely blocked more conversation regarding her personal life. After all, it's to their comfort since they do not want to know more about the ugly woman regardless of the wit she showed earlier, it's not enough to impress them yet. No one except Xin Daitai who warmly offered Fan Xifeng some dishes.

Both Cheuk Rongfang and Qi Anmei noticed this. Cheuk Rongfang hid her surprised since its her first time to see the meek yet efficient Xin Daitai to be warm to another person even to someone she just met. Cheuk Rongfang no longer watch them and focused her attention with eating, her eyes would meet Supervisor Gu from time to time and both people's eyes held a soft glint for each other.

Qi Anmei on the other hand sneered inside, 'Great, two ugly beings found friendship with each other.'

The dinner finally end around eight in the evening and they soon start to leave one by one. Fan Xifeng was the only one left in front of the restaurant waiting for the car that will fetch her. Earlier, Supervisor Gu politely asked to send her with Cheuk Rongfang and Qi Anmei. Fan Xifeng politely rejected telling the man someone will fetch her.

This surprised the three since who could possibly fetch this ugly woman?! A boyfriend?! Qi Anmei even mocked the thought inside. However her curiosity gets the best of her and she decided to be left behind and also to give Supervisor Gu and her sister Rongrong some private time. She hid behind a pillar of a pathway watching Fan Xifeng.

Fan Xifeng on the other hand felt that someone is watching her, although she's alert, she wasn't really scared since she's in front of a public establishment and just behind her, there were two security guards of the restaurant. No one could be daring enough to do her harm in front of these people right?

After another two minutes, a luxurious car parked in front of her, a Rolls-Royce Sweptail that made the security guards' eyes behind her to widen in shock. 'How could this woman be so ugly and yet has a luxurious car to fetch her?!' They both thought. Qi Anmei who was hiding is as shocked as the security guards! Her eyes protruded in disbelief! Aside from that, she couldn't say that the ugly Jing Feng (Fan Xifeng) has a sugar daddy since what kind of rich man will even waste time just looking at her!

Fan Xifeng got inside the car at the back and it only means she's being intended to be fetch! Qi Anmei's clenched her fist in envy!

Fan Xifeng after getting inside her service car finds her comfortable position as she watched the view outside. As they reached the intersection area, she saw a familiarly dressed woman walking alone. Fan Xifeng frowned. "Pull over please." She said to the driver.

"Miss?" The driver asked confused.

"Please pull over. The woman walking on the road is a colleague of mine. Let's give her a ride."

The driver obeyed and the car stopped on the side of the road. Xin Daitai outside paused in surprised and she was about to run away and escape but stop after hearing Fan Xifeng's voice. "It's Team leader Jing. Get in."

Xin Daitai's shocked face is apparent after distinguishing that the car is very luxurious and expensive! "Team leader Jing?!"

"Fan Xifeng smiled. "It's me. Get in. I'll send you home."

"No, no, it's okay. I maybe out of your way." Xin Daitai rejected.

"Where's your house?" Fan Xifeng asked.

"Oh, I'm actually walking to the bus stop. My family apartment is at the north."

"Oh it's alright. You're in my way," seeing the hesitation in Xin Daitai's eyes, she insisted, "Come on now. It's dangerous much that you're alone here walking."

Xin Daitai who was indeed afraid since she started walking no longer rejected and get inside the car. She was overjoyed for a free dinner earlier she forgot that the money she brought is only enough for her lunch and back and fourth fare for the bus. She's embarrassed to borrow money from her colleagues that's why she decided to walked her way from the restaurant to the bus stop. The distance is only 700 meters away so she really didn't mind, the only thing that bothered her though was that around this time, the area is secluded and any danger may come her way.

"Thank you team leader Jing." Xin Daitai thanked her with a new found respect for the woman.

"It's alright." Fan Xifeng nodded her head at her. "Are you commuting everyday?"

"Yes. I… I forgot that the money I brought with me is fixed, ha ha." Xin Daitai explained honestly and laugh awkwardly.

Fan Xifeng smiled but no longer comment.

About ten minutes later, the car stopped on an apartment area at the northern part of the Capital, obviously the apartment area is cheap because of its run down state. Xin Daitai on the other hand seemed not bothered about it and once again thanked Fan Xifeng before getting down of the car.

Once Xin Daitai was out, she waved her hand to bid goodbye and turned around to walk away. The car engine starts and Fan Xifeng once again leaned her back comfortably as the returned to the main road.
