CHAPTER 17

As they monitored the activities of his uncle, Lu Shaoming, they found out his relationship with Rosie Lin. Kevin didn't know that he was being cuckold by the woman he thought was loyal to him.

On Arianna's twenty fifth birthday, every rich clans we're invited. Kevin attended with Rosie. He brought with him the divorce papers and a contract of merging. He asked Arianna for a few minutes to talk. They went to a private room and as Kevin talked to her about the merging and the divorce, she agreed. "Ok. I will fund your proposal as long as you sign the divorce papers. Arianna called her company lawyer to witness the signing. And as they both signed the documents, "You'll be a free woman after you send the divorce papers at the bureau. Congratulations!!!"

Arianna smirked at his sarcasm. "Business is business. I will push through with the collaboration but not the merger. It's a pleasure working with you, Mr. Gu!"

When they left the room, Arianna stumbled and a hand on her waist straighten her up. It was Kevin and their position was very compromising.

As the highlight of the event, A screen was set up for the videos and pictures of Arianna since birth. And at the last frame, a picture of her during her teen age life was shown. Her drunk scenes at the bar seven years ago.

Arianna was shocked seeing the pictures of her indecent actions in Columbia. It was her dancing and kissing a man. The man's face was hidden. Channing remembered the scenes and with his cold aura he ordered his men to shut it down. Arianna went to the stage. "As you all have seen, that was me. When I arrived in Columbia. I was depressed."

A man replied from the table. "You are a disgrace." Arianna looked at the man and found out it's her uncle.

Her parents were shocked too and they came to the stage to give support. Mrs. Lu held the microphone and said, my daughter is not like that. Though she behaved that way it was because she was young that time." Mr. Lu's hands were shaking and wanted to punch his cousin, Lu Shaoming.

"And the result of those what you say younger days was the birth of those bastard sons."

Upon hearing Mr. Shaoming's deliberate words, Channing snapped his fingers and went to the stage. "You said that the boys are bastards. Who the hell are you to say that. You are the bastard!!!" The veins on his face and neck we're showing up because of anger. "I will show everyone of what kind of bastard are you." After those words were spoken, a video was shown on the screen, and a couple on bed doing the deeds were seen. It showed Mr. Shaoming's face and Rosie Lin, the famous actress of the capital.

"Noooooooo!!! It wasn't me!!!" She faced Kevin and tried to talk to him. "I already knew about it for sometime now, Rosie. And we're done!" After Kevin said that, he left the venue.

After the said video, an audio was heard about the kidnapping incident. Then policemen came and arrested Lu Shaoming. As the policemen took him, he was cursing Arianna for stealing what was rightfully his.

"Stop!" Grandfather said to the police and told Lu Shaoming, "rightfully yours? I have given you and your family chances to grow your business but this you bite the hand that feed you. From now on, you are no longer a member of the Lu clan. All your properties will be confiscated. Your family will be given enough for them to live comfortably but outside the country. If anyone from your family will be seen in the country, they will be sent to jail will be charged accordingly as accomplice to the kidnapping. You may take him now." After that, Elder Lu came to stand beside Arianna.

"To everyone, I am the founder of the company. I alone can appoint anyone I like to handle my business. I owned thirty percent of the company, my son owns twenty percent, Arianna owns twenty percent because my wife gave her shares to her. Now, I will hand over my shares to my granddaughter. If anyone of the shareholders would like to question her position, just look at her shares before you complain. And for the past months since she handled the company, it growth was tremendously satisfactory for everyone's benefits."

Then the elder Lu came down of the stage and all the guests now we're surrounding Arianna for a collaboration and be noticed.
