Chapter 16: Sticking to him.

Once Daisy noticed he slept she removed the blanket from her face. Her eyes were red. She stood up from the bed carefully not to wake him up and went to the bathroom. She locked the door from inside and sat inside her bathtub curling up like a ball with her knees upto her chest.

"What's wrong, baby?", her mom asked with a worried look. "Momma, everyone hates me. I'm scared he will hate me too. I'm not worthy of him. I only create trouble for him", Daisy said in a cracked tone.

"My baby, if you think so then why don't you tell him how you feel?", her mom spoke gently. "He will hate me, momma", she said and cried. "Then what will you do?", her mom asked. "I'll go away from him. He will be happy with someone better. I only create troubles. Momma, I want to come to you."

Her mom gently smiled and said, "You can always come to me." She nodded and filled the bathtub with icy cold water. "Momma, people just hate me. Only you both love me", she said as tears rolled down her eyes.
