Episode 42 [The Cursed Castle]

After Shin Young heard where the mysterious mountain is, they immediately head off to the mountain. 

30mins earlier before shin young head off.

They guy at the bar who heard about the mysterious mountains head out with his companions. They walking to get into the mountain because of the powerful force of winds make it difficult to fly. Most of his companions are still in doubt about going into the castle.

'Boss Gen! are we seriously heading to the cursed castle?' one of his companion said.

'is there a problem, Seth?' Gen said.

'No, just I'm still not sure about it since the locals said many people never comeback alive, even rankers.' Seth said.

'Don't be scared about that, I'm a high ranker you know. So just follow me' Gen said.

They are struggling about the strong wind making it difficult to climb and they are just relying on a small path, one wrong move and you could die.

Then after an hour of climbing the tallest mountain that reach the sky hay finally saw the Castle.

'whew…this mountain is really high, maybe many people die here because of that difficult road. Thankfully we got here with no casualties.' Gen said.

'Boss Gen look at that!' one of his companions said. 

They are astonished about seeing the large moon on the outside, and finally they saw the old castle.

'That is he Cursed Castle.' One of his companions said.

'Let' go inside!' Gen said.

Then all of Gen's companions are walking towards the large door of the castle. Without hesitation, Gen open large the door, they saw a very dark room inside it when all of them are inside the door shut itself.

'what? The door!' Seth said.

All of them are doing everything they can to open the door but none of it works. Then, a moment later fire started on a torch, all of rankers look ahead – they saw a path created by numerous torch with fire. Gen's companions asked him to what to do.

'What should we do, Gen?' one of his companion said.

'It might be dangerous but it is the only chance we have to escape here.' Gen said.

*Then seth talks   

'Dammit, I already told you not to go inside, see what happen?' Seth said.

'Then why did you follow me in the first place?' Gen said. 

'B-becau-' Seth interrupted by Gen.

'Shut it and follow me if we want to get out here!' Gen said.

All of Gen's companions have no choice but to follow him. Most of them are scared about what lies ahead in the castle, but they still decided to walk deeper and deeper in the castle.

Shin young and his Rings are flying in the vast land and there they saw the mountains. Before they can even reach the mountains they were greeted by powerful wind that drives many people away.

'It seems there is a powerful spell that surrounds the mountains.' Asensio said.

"They said the cursed castle is at the top of the highest mountain, do you see it?" shin young said.

All of his Rings and including shin young are looking around when Victoria saw the tallest mountain far away.

'There!' Victoria said while pointing at the end of the mountains.

Shin young and his rings immediately head over to the highest mountain.

At the same time, inside the castle.

Gen and his companions have reached the end of the way that the torch leads them. They saw a giant old door. They try to open the door with brute strength but nothing happen. After that they saw a stone orb at the center of the wall, Gen flew and saw the orb. He noticed that the stone orb has an image of a crescent moon.

'What did you see?' Gen said.

'I saw a crescent moon.' Gen said.

'Crescent moon?' one of his companion said.   

All of them are thinking about the moon.

'arghhhhh…I can't figure it out.' Seth said.

Until one of them look about while thinking. There he saw a old glass covered with vines, algae, and leaves.

'Wait! Look above' one his companion said.

'what is it?' Gen said.

'Maybe the door would open f we let the moonlight strike the orb.' The companion said.

'Let's just try. We will lose nothing.' Seth said.

Then after hearing that, Gen use his fire magic to burn the leaves and vines. After that one of the clean up the burned vines and there they sew the moon. The glass is aligned with the orb, so the moonlight strikes the orb and make it shine.

'*ugh* so bright.' Seth said.

Then the large door open, all of them are hearing the loud sound that the door make.

'It's opening!' Seth said.

*When the door open a misty smoke greets them. 

'Creepy.' One of the companions said.

When they entered the room, they saw a young boy sitting on a stone chair. All of them are shock about his appearance.

'Who is that kid?' Seth said. Then all of them look at the young boy sitting on the chair.

Then a voice break the silence, the boy spoke.

'Welcome to the Cursed Castle.' The boy said. Then he look at them with intimidating look.

All of them are shaking in fear, crying, trying to get out but have no strength to move.

Gen, has no strength to stand up when he saw the boy. Everyone is shaking in fear.

'T-t-that 'Kid' is tremendously powerful!' Gen said.

All of them are looking at the boy. Then the young boy stands up

'Why are you all so tense?' the boy said.

Then instantly the boy move so fast in front of them, like he teleported.

'what? So fast!' Gen said.

*Everyone look at the boy. 

'W-w-who are you?' Gen said.

'Who? Me?' The boy said. Then he smirk..

'I'm just nobody.' The boy said.

Everyone is still shaking out of fear and because of that the attack the boy without knowing. It created a powerful explosion, but after the smoke disappear, they boy is still standing in hs position unscathed.

'And what do you think you are doing?' the boy said.

*everyone is rattling in fear.

'I humbly welcome you in my castle and this is what you will give me in return.' The boy said.

The boy unsheathe his sword and swing it to them, in that swing he killed them instantly and put back his weapon back to its cover. He slowly walks back to his chair while saying…

'I wonder how long it would take for me to get out of this castle.' The boy said.

Then after the boy sat on his chair he heard a voice.

"My, My, and what do we have here?" Shin young said.

Shin young and his Rings arrive at the castle and saw the dead body of the people.

'Who are you people?' The boy said.

Shin young ignored the boy.

"Is this a welcoming gift?" shin young sad in his mind while looking at the dead bodies.

Then out of nowhere the boy unsheathe his sword and attack shin young, he really move so fast but the boy's reaction was bizarre. He is shocked that Shin young manage to stop his sword on his face with his only 2 fingers without even looking.

Then the boy ceases the attack.

'I'm surprised you stopped that.' The boy said.

"Well, it's more like child's plying his toy." Shin young said.

Then the boy smirks.

'I like that attitude.' The boy said.

Shin young also gives him a smirk.

'What is it that you want?' the boy said.

"I am looking to a group of people who lived in the ancient times here at abyss…" shin young said.

'and who are you looking for?' The boy said.

"…the 12 Ancient signs." Shin young said.

The boy is shocked and sat on his chair again.

'If you are looking for those people…all of us have gone in our own ways.' The boy said.

"All of us?" shin young asked.

*Shin young is thinking.

'Yeah, what you are thinking is right.' The boy said.

"So you're…" shin young said but interrupted by the boy.

'You're right. I am one of 12 Ancient Signs. I am Karma, The Ancient signs of Aries.' Karma said.

"ohhh…" shin young said in his mind.

'And by the way what do you need from me?' Karma said.

"I just need you to tell me what happen in ancient times because my subordinates were sealed here in abyss." Shin young said.

'And what will you do if I tell you?' Karma said.

"I'll go find them, I have to do something important." Shin young said.

*Karma sighs then look again to them.

'Even if I tell you what happen you can't leave this place so it's just useless to tell you.' Karma said.   

"How come?" shin young said.

'This castle is under a curse that once you enter you can't leave…forever' Karma said.

'Curse?' Asensio said.

'Yeah…once all of the Signs have gone in our own ways. I continue my adventure in abyss. I've been wandering for so long until I found this place, I rested here for a while and when I plan to move and continue, I can't escape. I tried many options including people with spatial magic can't escape. Every hope here is useless. So that's why it is called The Cursed Castle.' Karma said.

"A cursed, huh?" shin young said,

'!' Karma react.

"How long have you been in here?" shin young asked.

'I stop counting long ago…I don't remember.' Karma said.

"ahhh…Do you know who put the cursed?" shin young asked.

'ahhh. Long ago there is a people who come here, and they said "This is the cursed castle, the owner of this house really adore this place so he made a contract with a Demon so no people can escape and continue to love this." That is what they said.' Karma said.

"A demon, huh" shin young said in his mind.

Shin young walks and look at the window and said:

"If I let you escape here, you will show me what happen and where is my subordinates?" shin young said.

*Karma smirk at him.

'As if you could…but if you do, I'll tell you.' Karma said.

"Are you ready to see the outside world again?" shin young said.

Then Karma is shocked about what he feels.

'What is this? This sinister power?' Karma said in his mind.

Partial Release of Devil Power: 6% 

"Since this cursed comes from a Devil too you can undo it with Devil magic too." Shin young said.

'dammit who are these people…it looks like I am facing my own death.' Karma said in his mind.

Then shin young touch wall of the castle and the castle was shaking and all of them has felt the cursed of the castle.

Then the castle curse was removed. Then shin young destroy the roof of the castle and there Karma feel's he outside world again.

"Now…tell me what happens in those primordial time." Shin young said looking at karma with intimidating eye.
