Someone took the bait

(A few days later)

Touji Shidou's work increased a lot in the past few days. This is due to the appearance of a person named Mike. He took the credit for 'killing' the ruler of Kuoh and his subordinate Masaomi. He 'mourned' over his friend's 'death'. His teammates comforted him. He eventually got over his colleague's 'death'.

Touji never thought that acting would be that hard. But he was able to fool everyone, fortunately. Since he agreed to help Mike, he normally has to isolate himself from his team. He did this by doing some of the exorcist jobs himself and gave a lame excuse of 'I remember him every time I am working with the team. So, I decided to work with the team only if it's necessary. I will do minor jobs myself. Please forgive me.' But his colleagues allowed it. So, from that day, Touji did the jobs like slaying a weak stray devil or fallen angel alone.

And currently, Touji is going back home after he killed a weak stray devil. He is in a deserted area during night time. So, the cliche event a.k.a being followed by a mysterious person is currently taking place. Touji noticed the presence of that person. He sighed and said "You can come out. You should know how to hide your presence a little."

"I was not really hiding it." said the person as he came out of the darkness.

"Yeah yeah, stop giving excuses, Mi... Wait, who are you?!" Touji asked the man standing in front of him with surprise. It seems Touji expected the wrong person.

"Were you expecting someone else? Doesn't matter... Just answer me one question. Why did you kill Cleria Belial?" asked the man with grey hair and eyes as he unleashed the demonic aura.

Touji immediately unsheathed his sword and pointed his sword at the grey-haired devil. The devil sighed and came at Touji with full force. Just when the devil was about to punch Touji, his hand was stopped.

"Whoa... Calm down, Mr.Champion." Mike said as he caught the punch from Diehauser Belial with a single hand. But then again, Diehauser was also holding back since he wanted to keep Touji alive until he got his answers.

Diehauser found something strange with the kid who caught his punch. The kid is not emitting any aura. "Who are you?" He asked the kid.

"Nice to meet you, Mr.Champion, I am Michaelangelo Strada. The actual person who took the mission of 'killing' your sister." Mike casually answered.

Diehauser is pissed. He understood why his sister 'died' that easily. He could have never thought that the church would use one of the high ranking officials to 'kill' his sister. And this might be a trap to lure him out. He thought of using his clan ability 'Worthlessness' on Mike. But he first needs to know the ability of the opposite person to render it 'worthless'. And Diehauser couldn't understand Mike's skill at all. Looking at Mike, who was just standing there, Diehauser asked the same question again. "Why?!"

"Because she is in a romantic relationship with an exorcist," Mike answered casually.

"And you killed her just for that reason?! Wait... 'is' ?" Diehauser found something strange in Mike's words. He used 'is' instead of 'was'. It's as if...

"Yeah, Cleria Belial and her lover are still alive." Mike took out his phone and called them. "Hello, yeah Masaomi-san?"

((Mike! I was just about to call you!))

He seemed happy but Mike disregarded that. "Could you give the phone to Cleria-san? Her brother wants to talk to her."

((What ?! Nii-sama?!!))

It seems that the speaker was on from that side. And Mike threw the phone to Diehauser and asked Touji to close his ears even though Mike didn't switch on the speaker. Diehauser immediately caught the phone and Cleria told him something that only the two of them know. Diehauser cried after confirming that it's actually his sister. Cleria explained everything that happened to her. And once the explanation was over, Diehauser was angry again. But this time, it was at his own kin. Cleria asked him to switch on the speaker.

((We were actually about to tell Mike about this first. But since Nii-sama is here too. We want both of you to listen. The thing is I am pregnant!))

" "What ?!" " Both Mike and Diehauser shouted at the same time. One out of surprise and one out of shock.

"What?" Asked Touji who was still covering his ears with a confused face. Mike asked him to stop covering the ears and said "It seems that your colleague is going to be a Papa."

"What?! That's a good thing!" Touji thought about it again "Wait, it might not be... It hasn't been that much time since he was gone to get her pregnant in these few days and devils can't get pregnant that easily... That means... Behind my back, he has been..."

((Umm... B-Boss, you are there too? W-Well, about that... Sorry...)) Masaomi was being apologetic from the other side.

"Ah, no problem... or did you think I would say that?! What were you thinking when you are pounding a devil behind my back?! This is not what I meant when I said 'You should drill your sword into the devils', you idiot!" Touji shouted at his former colleague. Masaomi just let out an awkward laugh from the other side.

"Careful, that's my sister you are talking about!" Diehauser warned Touji.

"Oh, sorry... Anyway, congratulations, you dumb colleague of mine. Ask Mike to connect you to me if you need advice on being a father."

When Touji said the above statement, Mike immediately took the phone and shouted, "Masaomi-san, don't take advice from this man if you don't want your child to become a closet pervert!"

((Calm down, Mike. I already know Irina. I was planning on not taking advice from the start.))

"Masaomi, could you do me favor and tell me where you are? I suddenly have the urge to complete this mission which was supposed to be mine." Touji calmly stated.

((Oops! I forgot that the speaker was on. Mike, I am counting on you.))

"Don't worry... He isn't serious... most probably." Mike smiled and stated.

Diehauser looked at the situation he was in and couldn't help but smile at himself. He came to Kuoh in secret to know the mystery behind his sister's death and got involved with something much bigger and he was told that his sister is pregnant. And there is also this boy full of mysteries in front of him. Diehauser stopped caring about where this was heading and decided to enjoy the moment.
