Situation in the heaven

(After a few days)

"Nii-chan, it's done. I couldn't completely get rid of the stupid condition but the amount of faith needed to run the system will be half. Additional faith will be stored and used when needed. It's not completely fixed. It will still run inefficiently like it did till now but the amount of faith doesn't pose a problem anymore. This damn system..." Mike said while rubbing his forehead.

"Language, Mike. I won't ask you to never do that again but at least stop using that kind of language in Heaven." Michael patted his little brother's shoulder. "About the system, you should be proud. I can't even do that."

"Haa... I am supposed to be a professional hacker but for some reason, this one is a pain to deal with, Nii-chan." Mike lamented.

"You did an excellent job, Mike. You didn't go back to earth and stayed here completely while working on the system these few days. It's because of that girl, isn't it?" Michael gave an understanding smile. "Asia Argento. You could just hide her from society after you saved her and let her live a normal life in your shadow but you publicly brought her back to church. Even though a devil deceived her, the fact that she healed him against the church's teachings still exists. And also her sacred gear can heal both angels and devils similarly even though sacred gears are supposed to be given by God. That fact is also a problem for the church."

Mike brought back Asia and made her stay together with Vasco. Mike didn't clearly tell the details out to the public. He came back to heaven and started working on the system. Both the church and the underworld are in chaos due to the incident. The situation in the underworld is being controlled by Ajuka, Euclid, and Sirzechs. Serafall released a new movie to distract the news in the underworld. So, she is also helping in her own way.

"I will have a meeting with the high officials of the church in a few days. And I am going to do something that will affect the faith of the believers by a lot. Are you okay with it, Nii-chan?" Mike asked.

"Haa... I already expected you would do this. But the decision is done by voting. Do you think you can convince all of those officials? Do you want me to come down and talk in the favor of Asia Argento?" Michael suggested.

"No. You can't get involved in this. The faith required from now is indeed only half. But if the one who is thought of as God's right hand came for this case, it will be even bigger chaos. You will never talk in my favor in this case. The public must think that I am only doing what I want to and decided this myself. All of the angels should stay neutral in this case including you and onee-chan." Mike stated with a serious expression.

"Alright. Speaking of Gabriel, she's really worried about you. She always wanted to meet you but didn't come because she didn't want to disturb you these few days. So, you should go and spoil your girlfriend now." Michael teased his little brother with a smug. Mike didn't say anything back because the teasing was a routine and he got used to it. He said bye to Michael and went to Gabriel's room.

"Onee-chan, I am ba... mmph!!" As usual, Mike was embraced by the twin mounds even before he could complete the sentence. Before, he used to complain about not being able to breathe, but now he just enjoys the sensation. She is his girlfriend after all.

"Mi-kun!! I have been so lonely!! You have to make up for making your girlfriend feel so lonely!" Gabriel complained and snuggled with Mike.

"Okay, what do you want me to do, onee-chan?" Mike decided to spoil her just like Michael said.

"Hmm... How about another date?! I love going on dates with Mi-kun!!" Gabriel said with an excited expression.

"Well, I am not really fond of that." Mike let out a dry smile. Their dates always end up in complicated situations. When they go to eat food in a place, the waiters will recommend the child's menu reminding them that Mike is a child. If they went to watch a movie, Gabriel would cry her heart out because of the sins committed in the movie and blames the creators. If they went to someplace in public, all the guys would glare at Mike with envy. If they went to a quiet place, Gabriel would do nothing but keep on hugging Mike which is a normal routine. Well, out of all these, Mike prefers someplace alone because he can kiss and flirt with Gabriel as much as he wants.

"How about visiting a clothes store for a shopping date?" Gabriel suggested.

"That's the last place I wanna go. You remember what happened last time, right?" Mike said with a slightly blushed face.

When she heard that, Gabriel became so embarrassed with a completely blushed face. The situation that these two are talking about happened a few weeks ago.

"You want me to try all of these?!" Mike was on a date with Gabriel and when they hit the clothes store, Gabriel became too excited when Mike wore some good-looking clothes.

"Mi-kun looks really good no matter what he wears! Ah, I want to see you more in different outfits! Hehehe..." Gabriel's eyes were shining.

"I am not your dress-up doll, onee-chan! I am your boy... brother." Mike was about to say 'boyfriend' but he realized that they were in public. Mike sighed, "Haa... fine. I have to first try and see if these fit. I will go to the dressing room."

"Ma'am, let's leave your brother alone, do you have a boyfriend?" After Mike went to the dressing room, the female shopkeeper asked Gabriel.

"Umm... I do." Gabriel can't lie. So, she should either answer with the truth or she should say 'I don't want to talk about it'.

"Excellent, we have something that will definitely please your boyfriend, will you try it?" Since Gabriel was so beautiful, the shopkeeper guessed that she would easily get a boyfriend. And since Gabriel seems to be rich for buying all those clothes for Mike, the shopkeeper decided to try her luck.

"Huh? Will it definitely please my boyfriend?" Since Gabriel loves Mike, she will do anything to please him.

"Of course! What you have to do is just simply follow my advice!" And so, the shopkeeper took Gabriel from the children's section to the women's section in the shop.

Mike came back after a while only to find out Gabriel disappeared. Another shopkeeper told him that she was at the women's section. Mike decided to not go in there and wait for Gabriel to come back. Gabriel wanted to surprise Mike. So, she didn't tell him what happened in there.

After they went back to heaven, Mike went to Gabriel's room during the night as she asked him to. And he was stunned when he opened the door. Gabriel was lying on the bed in a sexy pose on all fours wearing a black-revealing bikini. "It's... It's hot, isn't it, Mi-kun? Wouldn't you lay with me in the b... bed?"

Mike immediately shut the door and slapped himself to see if he's dreaming. He didn't feel pain and then, he realized that he can't get hurt as long as he reinforced his body with his power. So, he removed the reinforcement and slapped himself hard again. That one hurt him. Mike calmed down, took a deep breath, and opened the door once again. Gabriel was still in the same position. "Did... did I do it wrong?" She asked with a bright red face. "And... this situation is embarrassing me for some reason..."

"What were you doing, onee-chan?" Mike understood that someone told Gabriel to do it. He didn't understand if he should thank them or kill them.

"Huh? the shopkeeper of the clothes shop told me that this would definitely please my boyfriend. Did she lie to me?" Gabriel asked with teary eyes.

"No, she definitely didn't lie to you. But the boyfriend in this situation is not supposed to be a child. I mean, it did please me but... it's complicated..." Mike decided not to kill the shopkeeper and thanked her in his heart but also decided to never take Gabriel back there.

"Really? Mi-kun doesn't dislike it?" Gabriel asked to confirm again.

"Not at all. I like it a lot." Mike reassured her.

"Then prove it to me by laying in the bed together with me!!" Gabriel stated.

There was a moment of silence. "Onee-chan? What do you think 'laying in the bed together' means?"

"Doesn't that just mean you have to lay in the bed with me? We sleep together, right?" Gabriel said with an innocent look which complements her sexy attire by a lot.

Mike went towards her and whispered the real meaning in Gabriel's ear. Gabriel started emitting fumes due to the embarrassment.

"Th... That's not it, Mi-kun!! I mean, I wouldn't mind if it's you but we... we can do that only after you grow up!!", Gabriel stated with a blushed face.

"Yeah, I know," Mike said with a smile and took Gabriel's confusion as an opportunity to kiss her making Gabriel even more embarrassed.

He climbed onto the bed and embraced her as she asked him to. Gabriel slept peacefully after calming down but Mike's situation was different. He slept with her naked many times but the situation here is more complicated. So, Mike's sleep was not that peaceful during that night.

And now in the present, Mike is sleeping beside in a similar position but a fully-clothed Gabriel this time. They decided that it would be best if they just stayed together in heaven rather than going on a date.

"Onee-chan..."

"What is it, Mi-kun?"

"In a few days, I am going to do something crazy that will shake the faith in the church," Mike confessed.

"Is that so?" Gabriel didn't really care about it. She knows about Asia's situation and felt pity for her.

"Are you not going to say anything else?" Mike asked.

"You can choose whatever you want, Mi-kun. I will always believe in you. Even if we were separated for a while, Mi-kun promised that Mi-kun will always come back to me, right? You will keep that promise, won't you, Mi-kun?" Gabriel asked with a knowing smile.

"Yes. I will definitely keep that promise." Mike smiled back. Mike closed the distance between their lips signaling Gabriel about what he was about to do. This time, Gabriel complied and closed her eyes, and allowed Mike's lips to touch her own.

They kissed for a while. After that, Mike broke the kiss and stated, "I love you, onee-chan"

"I love you too, Mi-kun!" Gabriel also confessed and snuggled with him. After a while, both went to sleep peacefully.

(Author's Note: Yeah, it's been a while. My workload with academics is heavy these days. So, the chapter got delayed by a lot. Anyway, this time, the chapter is purely about Gabriel x Mike's relationship. I think few people have been commenting in every chapter that they want to see this interaction. I am not good with romance but I hope you are satisfied. Anyways, I hope my academic workload won't be too heavy so that I can write this faster.)
