The Confession

A loud voice full of shocking feeling was uttered by Alex as he stared at Helena in disbelieving, while Diana and Sophia covered their agape mouth and their eyes widened.
All four members of the Carter family were currently inside the living room on the second floor of their mansion. The other three were extremely dumbfounded after listening to the confession Helena had just made.
"Yo-you're telling me that YOU, my eldest daughter, is actually the Amethyst Queen? That famed Amethyst Queen?!" Alex asked with a quivering voice.
"Yes, Father. I am her." Helena calmly answered.
"How?" Alex asked again, but his expression clearly shows that he does not believe her at all.
Even his wife and his youngest daughter also find themselves difficult to believe Helena's earlier confession.
It wasn't that they underestimate her. In fact, to them, Helena was a precious jewel in their eyes. They know she was strong, resourceful, and knowledgeable, due to that they were really proud of her.
But Amethyst Queen was a living legendary powerhouse whose strength, reputation, and deeds were simply beyond the reach of common people. She was a monster genius who had attained the cultivation of Diamond-class before the age of 20. Moreover, she was capable of owning and managing one of the wealthiest territories within Heavenly Tower's 1st layer, where the competition for power was extremely cruel and arduous.
All of those glittering achievements weren't easy to obtain!
Therefore, someone who can achieve all of that was definitely not a mere ordinary woman.
That's why for the rest of the Carter to imagine that Helena and Amethyst Queen were of the same person… It's a really hard thing to do.
Seeing that her family seems had difficulties to believe her, Helena smiled wryly. She knew what kind of impact that her other persona had caused to Gaia's society.
People of this world considered Amethyst Queen as one of the greatest heroines and rankers that Gaia has produced. It's understandable that her family would not believe her confession at all.
'Well, I can only use that method, in the end.' Helena sighed inwardly.
She did not reply to Alex's question. Instead, she unleashed her power to show her true capability in order to make them believe her words.
Suddenly, the entirety of the living room was filled with an incomparable aura!
The scenery also turned from a typical living room of a house to a dark space that seemed vast and unending. It was dark, void, and empty, without a single speck of light could be seen.

Alex, Diana, and Sophia were flabbergasted and surprised, their hearts were trembling furiously.
They were scared shitless after finding themselves ended up within the dark space when one moment earlier they were just sitting inside their living room.
Alex instinctively moved his body closer to his wife and his youngest daughter, hugging their shivering bodies as he tries to keep them safe, even though he himself was afraid as well.

Then, from out of nowhere, hundreds or even thousands of purple-colored lightning strikes appeared and thundering throughout the dark space, grazing everywhere randomly while scattering deafening roaring sounds!
In front of these lightning strikes, Alex, Diana, and Sophia couldn't help but feels small, weak, and powerless. These lightning strikes seem to be heavenly… divine even. As if they were created by the fury of a god, aiming to destroy and cleanse everything that stood in their ways.
Afterward, Helena, who had been disappearing since a moment ago, emerged right in front of her family. But her aura has changed drastically. To the other three, she feels familiar but also like a stranger at the same time.
Helena's violet eyes were burning intensely, her face was cold and indifferent, her ethereal beauty was also intensified as dominating and overbearing aura shrouded her body.
She reached out her right hand and flicked her finger…
Then, the purple lightning strikes quickly converged to her. Calmly circling and orbiting around her body.
Helena's current appearance appears just like a thunder goddess, who descended into a mortal world and revealed her prowess for everyone to bear witness.
This was the first time for her, showing off her newfound Star-class power in the presence of other people. And ironically, to her own family, the people she wanted to protect the most, instead of, her enemies.
Witnessing her family shocked and horrified expressions, Helena throw them a gentle smile and spoke softly, "Relaxed… What you see here is just the combination of my Domains. I'm showing this so that all of you would believe what I've said before."
The three people can only nod their heads nervously, despite the assuring words, they were still heavily affected by Helena's display of power. Then again, those three were just simple people without much of experiences, so all of these were just too much for them to digest within a short moment, they need time.
Helena decides to close her eyes, and not long, everything returned to normal. The four people find themselves within the living room again, safe and sound. The lightning strikes and the dark space were gone, instantly.
Helena's aura also diminished while her demeanor has changed back to the usual state that her family was familiar with.
But even after a few minutes have passed, Alex, Diana, and Sophia still haven't opened their mouth, they were still staring at Helena with bewildered gazes.
"I'm sorry… I have shown you all something frightening. But it was the only way I could think of to make you believe me in the quickest time." Said Helena with a solemn expression.
Hearing that, the three people exchanged look with each other.
Sophia was the first one to react as she runs to Helena and embrace her.
"What are you saying, dear? We should be the ones that need to apologize to you instead. After all, we didn't believe you when you confessed before. Forgive your mother, okay?" Diana said as she hastily walks towards her daughters before hugging them both.
Sophia looked upward and stare at Helena's face, "That's right, sis. I'm sorry for not believing you too."
Helena was stupefied by the turn of the event. She had previously thought the rest of her family would be scared and suspicious of her. She was really worried and afraid if things become like that.
But after realizing that her worries were untrue, her expression becomes jubilant and her heart was filled with extreme happiness. It wasn't the only time she felt that she was really lucky to be reborn within such a warm, supporting, and harmonious family.
"It's okay, little sister, mother." Helena replied shortly while her emotion spilled out.
Alex didn't say a word, he merely joining the family's hugging session in silence. His face as he looked at his wife and two daughters was filled with tenderness and utmost proudness.
He had a loving, gentle wife and two beautiful plus capable daughters!
He currently feels that he was the luckiest man alive.
"Hahaha… Who would have thought that my eldest daughter is actually the legendary Amethyst Queen?! Me! Alex Carter! Had a Diamond-class ranker as a daughter! Hahaha." Alex loudly declared excitedly while he raised his fist up in the air.
Fortunately, Helena already sealed the entire living room with a protective spell, otherwise, his loud voice will be heard by the servants across the mansion.
"Heh… It probably comes from my blood. How can our two daughters be so talented if it wasn't because of me?" Said Diana teasingly.
Alex's mouth twitched, "Wife, I've also made some contribution in making them both, you know."
"It's fifty-fifty then, hehe." Diana coyly retorted.
"By the way, sis. I can't imagine that your Domain to be so powerful. Are all Diamond-class rankers really strong like that? I can't hardly breathe when you unleashed your power." Sophia asked energetically.
It must be known, Amethyst Queen was one of her greatest idols. And to think that the real identity of such powerhouse was actually her sister, this set Sophia's mood to the max.
There was a reason why Helena choose the method of showing her Domains to make her family believe her and why they believed her quickly. It's because Domain was in fact an ability that only a Diamond-class or above ranker can possess.
The possessor of Domain ability has command over a certain domain, a sphere of influence, meaning they were able to command a certain concept that ranges from natural elements, energies, universal forces, or even aspects of sentient life (Such as War, Wisdom, Justice, etc).
Rankers have absolute power within his/her domains. To the extent that some of them may become omnipotent as long as they stay within their domains. But of course, they couldn't deploy their abilities forever as it takes too much of martial essences in order to maintain it for a certain period of time.
But all in all, this ability was the primary reason why Diamond-class rankers were so feared and respected.
What types of Domain that rankers have would be varied and unique from one to another. But technically, most Diamond-class rankers formed their domains from comprehending basic nature elements they have an affinity with.
There were a total of 9 nature elements in this universe: Fire, Water, Earth, Wood, Thunder, Metal, Light, Dark, and Space.
Typically, each ranker can only possess one domain since it would be hard to form more than that. But there were some exceptions, people having more than one domain, like Helena for example.
She had two Domain in total: Dark Gravity Domain and Heavenly Punishment Domain.
"Dark Gravity" was basically a Space element-based domain, capable of trapping the opponents within a constructed space that could give Helena a great advantage over them, it also capable of restraining or even crushing them through the constraint of gravity, which volume could be increased or decreased by Helena.
Space was the element that Helena has the most affinity with. Even in her previous life, her comprehension over the element was deep and profound. It could be said, she was extremely familiar with it.
Meanwhile, the "Heavenly Punishment Domain" has the ability to launch massive lightning strikes against the enemy. It was purely an offensive ability, though it might have the potential to be more flexible. But Helena's control over the ability was still inadequate at this moment, thus limiting its role.
Although the attack was in the form of lightning strikes, it does not have anything to do with the Thunder element at all. The domain derived its power from one of the most powerful universal forces ��� Heavenly Lightning Tribulation!
Therefore, its power was in the whole different league compares to ordinary Thunder-based domains.
It seems after Helena's ascension to Star-class, both domains have grown even more powerful now.
Helena shook her head in response, "No… Not all of them. Though my case is a bit different as I just had a breakthrough before I went home today."
"Wait! A breakthrough you say? Sis, what level is your cultivation now? Are you at late Diamond-class? Or… You couldn't be at peak stage right?" Sophia urgently asked.
Even her parents' faces were full of expectations as they're waiting for the answer.
"Star-class. I'm at birth stage Star-class level currently." Helena calmly answered while slightly smiling.

Once again, her family was shocked silly. This revelation shook even their very souls!
Star-class was no joke. It was a whole different beast compared to Diamond-class.
This cultivation realm was the true epitome of the so-called overlord. The difficulty of advancing to this level was the same as ascending to the heavens, extremely hard, and almost impossible for the majority of rankers all over the world.
In all of Gaia's history, only one person managed to achieve it thus far. Two now, if Helena was included.
Alex clutched his head, "I don't know what to think anymore. I'm having a headache now."
Although he says that, his expression could tell that he was really excited. He had a daughter with the cultivation of Star-class, of course, he would feel that.
Diana caressed Helena's head lovingly, "I'm proud of you, dear. We all do. You don't have to worry, you're still a daughter to me and your father, and a sister to Sophia, no matter what happens."
"Thank you, mother." Helena said bashfully, she felt warm by her mother's words.
"Hahaha, I have a Star-class sister, hohoho. If only I could brag about it to my friends, hehe."
"Don't! Please. I still need to keep my identity hidden from other people. So you can't tell someone else about me being the Amethyst Queen, okay?"
"Hehehe, don't worry about it, I'm just teasing you. Of course, I won't spill the secret." Sophia said cheekily.
"She's right, Helena. We'll keep your secrets well. No one else will know about it." Alex added some assuring words.
"By the way, why are you decide to tell us now? There has to be a reason, right?" Diana suddenly asked, she also cast a meaningful look toward Helena.
Helena draws a light breath and starts to explain everything behind her confession. She tells them about her dream of ascending to the Divine Realm, which was her main motivation, and her plan to climb to the higher layers of Heavenly Tower. She also told them that she needs to go to the 2nd layer six months later.
Once her explanation finished, Helena then asked, "What did you guys think about it? I want your inputs."
"Well, it's certainly a very grand aspiration. But just like I've always said since you're a little. Whatever your dreams are, as parents both me and your mother will always support you." Alex said with a gentle smile beamed from his mouth.
Diana nodded in agreement.
"Heh. even though I had a different dream, I'll support you too." Said Sophia while she tightly hugs Helena's body.
Helena looked to her sister's cute face before pecking her forehead, "And I will help you as well, little sis."
After that, the family's warm scene continued for some time, until Helena excuse herself as she still had an important matter to take care of.
While Sophia was disappointed that her sister must leave again, but Helena promised to return home in a matter of days at most, and that managed to calm her down.
Soon, Helena left the mansion with Ramon accompanying her.
