"You have a plan?" Jia Nanfeng raised an eyebrow and said, "Listen here. No matter how good your techniques are, you are only at the Qi Condensation realm. Unless you are going to compensate for the difference with a mere plan?"

"Of course. Then let me ask you this. How long will you be able to stall that demonic beast for?" Wu Tianyi asked her.

Jia Nanfeng did not immediately respond and stared at the Yin Yang Heavenly Lion for a minute before speaking, "Three…no, two minutes maximum."

"That's more than enough." Wu Tianyi nodded and continued, "The plan is, you will distract that demonic beast while I take the Spirit Fruit and use it to breakthrough. Once I have broken through, I will slay the demonic beast for you."

Jia Nanfeng stared at him with a dumbfounded look on her face. "That's your genius plan?! You must be out of your mind! Not even mentioning how you are going to breakthrough in two minutes, even if you breakthrough into the Foundation Establishment realm, you still won't be able to kill the demonic beast! "Weren't you going to distract it so I can steal the Spirit Fruit in the first place? Even if you cannot defeat it, you can always run away. If you must leave me behind to get away, then so be it. "Good! Then let me see how you are going to kill that demonic beast! I will distract it for two minutes, but if you fail to kill it, I will leave with or without you!"

Wu Tianyi nodded and said, "Give me some time to prepare first."

Wu Tianyi proceeded to sit down and closed his eyes, seemingly cultivating.

A few minutes later, Wu Tianyi opened his eyes, and it emitted a profound aura.

"I am ready whenever you are." He said to her.

Jia Nanfeng nodded and looked at the Yin Yang Heavenly Lion.

[I can't believe that I am really going to do this. If the Sect Elders find out about my dangerous actions, they will definitely scold me to no end.]

While Jia Nanfeng would rather not fight the Yin Yang Heavenly Lion, she really needed the Azure Jade Lotus. Furthermore, she was really curious to see how Wu Tianyi is going to breakthrough in two minutes and kill a demonic beast at the Core Consolidation realm while being in the Foundation Establishment realm, as that would be a sight to behold.

"Here I go!" Jia Nanfeng grabbed the sword by her side tightly and charged at the Yin Yang Heavenly Lion, her body emitting the cultivation of the peak of the Foundation Establishment realm, yet it felt much stronger than those at the Core Consolidation realm.

The Yin Yang Heavenly Lion roared with heart-throbbing loudness, clearly enraged to be awakened in such a manner. It turned to look at Jia Nanfeng and rushed at her with its fangs fully displayed.

Once the Yin Yang Heavenly Lion was distracted by Jia Nanfeng, Wu Tianyi activated the Disappearing Steps to approach the tree and steal the thousand-year-old Spirit Fruit within the blink of an eye.

After obtaining the Spirit Fruit, Wu Tianyi immediately sat down and consumed the Spirit Fruit, before closing his eyes to cultivate.

While breaking through in two minutes may be impossible for others, Wu Tianyi had been at the peak of the Qi Condensation realm and a hair away from the Foundation Establishment realm for many days now. Furthermore, he has a superior cultivation technique, which will allow him to absorb spiritual energy many times faster than an average person. If he wanted to, he could easily breakthrough at any time, not to mention that he has the Spirit Fruit assisting him now.

One minute later, Wu Tianyi's calm body suddenly gushed with a tremendous amount of spiritual energy, alerting both Jia Nanfeng and the Yin Yang Heavenly Lion.

[What kind of power is this?! It feels like the Foundation Establishment realm, yet it does not!] Jia Nanfeng was dumbfounded by the mysterious aura emanating from Wu Tianyi's body.

When the Yin Yang Heavenly Lion realized that the thousand-year-old Spirit Fruit it had been saving for consumption was stolen by them, it went into an enraged state.

"Shit!" Jia Nanfeng did not expect it to suddenly power up and immediately retreated. However, when she remembered that Wu Tianyi was still there, she bit her lips and went back to distract the Yin Yang Heavenly Lion.

"If you don't hurry up, I will really leave you here!" she shouted at him as she used her best techniques against the Yin Yang Heavenly Lion.

A few seconds later, Wu Tianyi opened his eyes, which flickered with profoundness.

[I have finally achieved the tenth level of the Qi Condensation Realm!] Wu Tianyi smiled inwardly.

While the ninth level is known to be the maximum stage for any cultivation realm, the truth was that there was a secret tenth level, but it required a special technique to achieve. However, this secret would not be discovered until a million years in the future, so the only person in this world that knows of this technique is Wu Tianyi.

Once one reaches the tenth level, they will still appear to be in the ninth level Qi Condensation realm in the eyes of others, but their strength greatly surpasses a normal cultivator at the mid-level of the Foundation Establishment realm!

The next instant, Wu Tianyi appeared behind the distracted Yin Yang Heavenly Lion with a sword in his hands.

Wu Tianyi's body suddenly emitted a tyrannical amount of spiritual energy, which was the source of his cultivation base and the leftover spiritual energy from the thousand-year-old Spirit Fruit, and for that moment, Wu Tianyi's power reached the Core Consolidation realm.

Wu Tianyi could feel his body bloating up with an enormous amount of energy that could explode his body at any moment if he does not release it immediately.

And when the Yin Yang Heavenly Lion felt this power suddenly appear behind it, it quickly turned around to attack Wu Tianyi, completely ignoring Jia Nanfeng.

However, Wu Tianyi was already prepared for it, and he slashed the sword in his hand at the Yin Yang Heavenly Lion while it was turning around.

The sword then completely went through the Yin Yang Heavenly Lion's body like a hot knife in butter, mutilating its body into two pieces.
