We arrived several kilometers near the kingdom. We can see from afar that the miasma has spread on a large area surrounding the kingdom.
The warriors in front began their charge. A lot of beast or monsters blocking their path.
"Let's go.. Ahhhhhhh"
"Supporters, ready your spells."
The magicians ready their wands and start chanting support magic that cleanses the mind of the effects of miasma.
"That's good. Let's advance."
Their battles is astonishing as to no one even got a scratch. Even I would be having a hard time dealing with one. Their military strength is astonishing.
As the advancement continues, we had a lot of battles going on and we can see the toll that it has on the soldiers and magicians.
"Sir, At this rate the soldiers will get tired and the return trip for us will be disadvantageous."
"I see."
"Call the elite squad."
"Yes sir."
The elite squad arrived and they look incredible.
"Elite squad. You will have a special mission. We will charge at the frontlines with speed. If you can ignore or ran past the monsters, do so. Your mission is to get to the kingdom immediately and access its situation and report back to me immediately."
"Yes sir."
They began their charge. Three hours has passed and only one of the 20 elite guards went back.
"What happened? Where are the others?"
"Sir. Half of us stayed in the kingdom to protect the citizens from the monster. The other half is with me a while ago but we faced a strong hooded person. It looks like he is the one controlling the beast sir."
"Only one person controlling the beasts?"
"Yes sir."
"What is the situation in the kingdom?"
"A few of the residents are missing and also the queen is nowhere to be found. All of the citizens are in the church. And the soldiers are protecting the church."
"That is both good news and a bad news."
"Call all of the soldiers and magicians. We are busting through the beasts."
We were called and the situation was shared to us.
"So we will be charging towards the man that is controlling the beast. Everyone ready your potions and spells."
We began marching towards the enemy but we no longer see the beast.
"Sir. Something is strange. No beast can be seen."
"That is true. Everyone remain vigilant."
As we walked along the forest. A hooded figure was standing afar.
"Who are you? What have you done to the people of this kingdom."
"Well, well , well. I can't believe that the mightiest kingdom would actually send help. Don't worry, they are still alive. I just want to have a chat with them. I will return them to you after that."
"No. You will return them to us now. Soldiers attack!"
"Do you really believe that I came here without a plan and alone? Have a taste of my power."
Different beasts emerged behind him. These beast are S classes type monsters. The Arachnid Queen, The Eagle monarch, The serpent King and even the Orc General.
The soldiers can easily defeat one or two S classes, but facing 4 is impossible even we are supporting them. And only one person of the elite squad is here.
Shivers and fear came to us. A lot of low rank adventurers fled the battlefield.
"Don't run. We can defeat them if we work together. Magicians help them."
The magicians chants spells.
"Protect us from evil.... Dragon's heart."
Everyone calmed down and began assisting each other.
The hooded figure is still at the back watching the fight.
I tried to look at him and our eyes met. He gave me a grin that is so creepy. I also felt like I heard him saying.. I found you.
After that he quickly vanished from his post and reappeared in front of me and held my head and pinned me down.
"Tsk. Tsk. Tsk. You are still weak. We will face each other again in the future. Don't disappoint me."
I felt a spell casted on me and I lost consciousness.
Meanwhile in the Halucia Kingdom the princess regained consciousness.
"Princess you are awake. How are you feeling?" Said the nurse.
"I am fine but what happened to me?"
"You were unconscious for two days princess."
"Two days?"
"Wait a minute princess, I will call the Royal doctor."
After a while, the doctor came in.
"Princess how are you feeling.?"
"I am well. What is wrong with me?"
"Congratulations princess, you're regnant."
"Pregnant?"
"Yes. We conducted several test on you and found out the news. You fainted because of your pregnancy."
"How is this possible? If what you say is true, why am I already fainting due to my pregnancy?"
"We are currently confirming it but we think that your baby is too strong that it absorbs not just what you eat but even your mana. Your child will become a great magician one day."
"When did I get pregnant?"
"We still don't know. Because of the mana absorption of the baby, we cant figure out when did he form. It might be the day before you fainted or 2 months before that. Its growth is irregular so we can't determine it."

Ysabel keeps thinking if the baby inside is Mei Kao's or the other one.
