Lupa didn't listen to his words, though. After living with the thought of death every day until meeting Vincent, unless it's someone important to her, Lupa doesn't seem to mind as much as others.

"Stop being insensitive, Lupa. We are going to see if Iris's father has left the cave or not. This isn't a joyride." Ester scolded Lupa.

Lupa lowered her ears and slowly nodded with a sad face. Then she looked at Iris and apologized, "I didn't mean to say that."

As they rested for one hour, Lupa offered some of her food to Iris as an apology. In that time, the horses were fed.
