Sword Dance

Selene nervously takes off the dark cloak covering her body, instantly revealing a long and diaphanous flowing red velvet dress that perfectly fits her willowy frame. The fabric may have covered her arms and legs, but it was all but an illusion. Because, beneath the almost translucent material, her skin might well be exposed. She was thankful that some of the fairy flowers sequins embroidered in the dress were strategically located to cover the body's most private part.

Selene places the cloak in Cessair's outstretched hand, frozen in mid-air while his eyes almost bulge out of their socket. If people didn't know better, they might mistake him for the statue because of how ghastly pale he looks, except when his mouth closes and opens like a fish out of water. Either way, she's already expecting him to react like this. The Marchioness would faint if she saw her like this. She can't believe she got talked into wearing this dress.
