Chapter 14

(AN: I decided to upload one chapter. But don't worry! There will be three more tomorrow! I'm just sick right now. And also, feel people didn't like the fainted part so apologized for that bu that is what I have planned too.)

Saeki was inside his room lying on the bed with Yasuko and Shiina watching over him. Iori is currently outside talking to someone about his condition.

A few seconds later, Iori entered the room with her arms crossed and a depressed face.

"The Doctor said he is fine. Saeki-Kun did not faint because of fatigue... But, we shouldn't let him overwork."

Iori then sat on the bed beside Shiina. Noticing Iori at her side, Shiina looked at her and pointed at Saeki.

"His...sick..." mentioned Shiina, with her usually stoic face.

Iori smiled and stroked her blonde hair, answering "He's fine Shiina... He just needs rest." she then looked at her friend "Yasuko, you should sleep with Shiina, it's getting late."

Yasuko didn't answer, even though she was sitting up straight. Shiina tilted her head and crawled towards her mother, she then used her index to push Yasuko's face. "Mother... is already... Sleeping." Shiina said, making Iori smirk.

"Let's go Shiina, I'll carry your mother." Surprisingly, Iori managed to lift Yasuko and carried her towards their own room.

"Rest...well..." Shiina patted Saeki's head and got off of the bed. Standing in the doorway, she glanced at him once before leaving.

"I fainted huh... Shiina was acting cute again." 

Chuckled Saeki while still lying on the bed, he was already awake when Shiina pushed her mother.

Once again, he closed his eyes to remember what Kouko experienced during the past month. 

It was all a misunderstanding, and he has to admit he was partly at fault in this... Feeling guilty, a tear dropped from his right eye and he used his sleeve to wipe it.

Saeki was really planning on having his revenge on time. What's more, he could include the so-called 'friends' that didn't even let him know what really happened...

But now he decided... 

Even though there were no mobs to kill just yet for leveling up, like in games, he can still gain EXP and Stats from girls once they reach max affection.

The only way to ensure his growth currently, is to make a harem. Sure, he has to discuss this with the person he has feelings for right now... and that was Iori Rinko.

She was there for him. Taking care of him despite being at the hospital. Surely his appearance helped a lot, but he knows Rinko is not that kind of woman.

"My main goal... Get girls, stats, and kill someone, maybe multiple someones." Mumbled Saeki as he opened his eyes and stared at the ceiling.

"Wait, before I fainted... I remember seeing something about an achievement thing. There was a perk." Saeki suddenly remembered something so he opened his achievement tab and decided to check it.

Awarded for having acquired genuine love from a girl in her youth. Rewards, the Perk (Young Love).]

Pressing the Perks tab again, Saeki checked the effects of (Young Love).

(Young Love)- Allows for affection to be gained easier with those who are still young and innocent.]

"So it means... Basically, I now have an easier time making young and innocent women fall for me."

While still checking, he suddenly heard footsteps coming to his room. He decided to close the status screen, even though someone won't see it, and pretended to sleep again.

Iori opened the door slowly to check if Saeki was still asleep. Seeing that he was still lying in bed, she entered and closed the door with a clicking noise. Iori was sure that she had locked it based on the sound.

Then, setting herself on the bed she gently lifted Saeki's head to place it on her lap. But...

"I know you're awake!"She hissed in a whisper, with a worried and irritated tone, pinching his cheek while looking down at his face.

"Wh... What do you mean?" Saeki pretended he just woke up, followed by an exhausted voice.

"Is that how you treat your man? Hmmph!" While still on her lap, Saeki crossed his arms and then looked to the side with a fake pout.

"And is that how you let your woman worry?!" This time, it was Iori who boldly declared and spoke with her voice raised. At first, she was stunned at her voice, but then made a sigh. Causing her to really sound troubled about what happened to him.

Raising his hands to cup her cheeks, a smile formed on his lips, and Saeki apologized right away. "I'm sorry, Iori... But, I'm happy that you finally admitted you're my woman... Right?"

Holding Saeki's hand against her cheek, Iori's eyes started to moisten. Realizing this, it was his turn to wipe her tears.

Saeki raised his body from her lap and faced Iori once again in a sitting posture, but this time, both of them gazed deeply into another's eyes. Ever so slowly, their faces were getting closer...

Until their lips connected and felt each other's touch as they kissed.

It is a rather simple idea, this perk type increases the point gain for every instance affection increases.

With the addition of a perk, the gains become like so

1 or 2 points add 1

3 to 9 points add 2

10 points or more add 3

Now, if there is more than a single perk that applies to an individual, the points gained increases by 1 for every perk beyond the first. Provided the mc gets any perk that meets this requirement, of course.
