Accident
The necklace on Tangning's neck had a faint glow and a tattoo with the same design as that of the necklace appeared on Tangning's shoulder.
Tangning opened her eyes and gasped for breath . Then suddenly the pain came rushing in then a cool flow passed through out Tangning's body all her injuries disappeared living only a broken arm.
The doctor was shocked to see that Tangning was left with only a minor injury but they told him she had a concussion. The doctor decided no to think about it further and instructed someone to put a cast on her left arm.
Meanwhile Tangning was in her consciousness .
"What kind of a place is this?and what am I doing here" Tangning asked herself.
"You're in your consciousness" said a deep cold voice.
"Who said that?" the voice sent shivers down Tangning's spine.
"The Jade spirit"
"Jade spirit?did I die or something and this is like a test to see if am crazy" Tangning mumbled to herself.
"You must be crazy to think they would test a dead person to see if his crazy"
"Now that someone else says it it does sound crazy, then if am not crazy why am I here?"
"You're my new master" the voice said in an indifferent manner.
"Your master how did I become your master"
"When your blood touched the Jade necklace, I recognized you as my master"
" Jade? how is that possible my family is so poor how can my mother afford Jade?"
" We don't have much time I have to fuse with you "
Tangning put her arms across her chest
" W-what do you mean fuse with me"
The Jade spirit sighed . " I wonder how I ended up with this kind of master "
" I heard that "
" I have to fuse with you so my powers can become yours "
Before Tangning could say anything back white light enveloped her body .
Tangning slowly opened her eyes the first thing she saw was her mother's fatigued face.
"Mom" Tangning said in a raspy voice.
"Ningning you're awake?how are you feeling? are you in pain anywhere?"Tang Man asked anxiously.
"I'm okay mom, I'm sorry"
" Why are you sorry all of a sudden?"
"I'm sorry for making you worry about me "
"Did the car accident affect your brain, if I don't worry about my daughter who will?"
"Thank you mom"
"What are you thanking me for?"
"For being my mother "
"And thank you for being my daughter" Tang Man kisses Tangning's forehead.
"Rest I'll go get the nurse "
"Hmmm"
Mom I promise I won't let you suffer anymore, I promise to give you a good life. Tangning silently made this promise in her heart.
Tang Man came back with the nurse Tangning was happy to hear she could leave the hospital in two days.
"Mom when I leave the hospital let's have ice cream"
"The only thing your think of is food, if you could use that brain to improve your grades wouldn't that be good"
"I promise from now on I'll study hard ,so can we have ice cream?" Tangning's eyes were sparkling like stars Tang Man couldn't say no to her.
"Fine"
Tang Man's phone suddenly rang
"Mom aren't you going to answer?"
Tang Man answered the the phone call in private.
