‘'What exactly are you?’’ she mustered the courage to finally ask.

‘‘Prosecutor Ann, how have you been?’’ he flashed a smile before pulling her into a tight hug, '‘I missed you’’

Rosa got out of the car as soon as they arrived at their apartment. She turned to Carlos Ryan when they reached her apartment, ''I want to be alone''

''En, I know. I will be around. Just call me if you need anything'' he said and hugged her before letting her go. Rosa opened the door and went inside before locking it. Carlos Ryan stared at the door for a while before going into his own apartment.

Rosa sat on the bed and a lot of thoughts came to her mind. She didn't know what to make her of her complicated emotions. Could Scarlet really end up dying because of her? If that happened, she wouldn't be able to forgive herself.

Benjamin Black arrived at his apartment with Prosecutor Piper and showed the latter to his room.
