‘'What exactly are you?’’ she mustered the courage to finally ask.

‘‘Prosecutor Ann, how have you been?’’ he flashed a smile before pulling her into a tight hug, '‘I missed you’’

Rosa showed the moving men where to send the things of her mother, sister and Kylie. It was an adjoining room with a door linking their apartment to Rosa's own.

Gloria George and Kylie inspected their rooms and were satisfied with them. Carlos Ryan had done a good job with the speedy renovation.

Coming out to the hall of Rosa through the adjoining door, Gloria George saw Carlos Ryan at the balcony and went over to him. The others were busy unpacking.

Carlos Ryan sensed a presence and turned. He saw Rosa's mother and bowed politely, ''aunt. Are you satisfied with the arrangement? If there is anything that you will need, just let me know''

''It is alright. thank you for not abandoning my daughter. She told me everything. I still can't wrap my head around everything but she trusts you a lot so I have also decided to trust you. Please, protect my daughter for me''

''Aunt, don't worry. I will always make sure that Rosa is safe and you and Kylie too''
