‘'What exactly are you?’’ she mustered the courage to finally ask.

‘‘Prosecutor Ann, how have you been?’’ he flashed a smile before pulling her into a tight hug, '‘I missed you’’

Carlos ran after the paramedics as they sent Rosa into the hospital. He followed them until they reached the surgery room and she was taken inside leaving him alone. He had gotten the call while on his way to pick her up at the penitentiary.

Soon afterwards, Scarlet and Black arrived and saw him waiting and they went over to him.

''Carlos, what happened? How did Rosa get stabbed?''

''I don't know. I was on my way to the penitentiary when I got the call that she had been taken over here after a stab to her stomach. I still don't know which part of her stomach was stabbed but I hope it wasn't anywhere close to her vital sides''

''Yes, she lost a lot of blood'' Carlos sighed and tussled his hair. Right at that moment, he felt regret letting her go to that place. Everything seemed to be getting out of hand.

''I hope Rosa is okay'' Scarlet held Black's hand tightly as her own hands quivered.

Rosa is taken to the emergency room 2
