Chapter 8 Let's make a deal

Pei yi rush over back to apartment remember how long she already makes Wella waiting. Her shorty leg try to speed while she run out after get off from the car.

''Pei yi, just remember you can't run away.'' The man who has name Adam shouted to Pei yi suddenly startled her.

Pei yi just stop her step for awhile without looking back then run away as soon as she could. While Adam just standing there look her disappeared smile with full affection.

Not long after Pei yi arrive at the apartment, she spotted Wella sit on the corner of terrace looking out the window in dazed. Her mind looks in here right now, just empty eyes that stare on far away desert.

''Wella are you alright?'' Pei yi sit beside her touch her shoulder that quite makes Wella startled and finally response turs her gaze to her best friend who already sit in front if her for the moment.

Wella just smile shake her head slowly said that she is alright. ''Where have you been?'' Wella pretend interrogate Pei yi change the subject.

"I..I...meet someone I know then suddenly forget the time. ha...ha...ha.'' Pei yi laugh nervously avoid Wella gaze and slowly slip away to the kitchen.

''Oh...who?'' Wella startled curious then following Pei yi to the kitchen.

"no one...'' Pei yi try to being busy prepared the food pretend to not care.

Wella keep staring Pei yi curiously piercing her eyes behave likes detective in every comic and novel she read before. In the end just makes Pei yi laugh seeing Wella behavior pretending as detective.

Both of them laughing heartily and forget a moment about their own problem. Eat the dinner while talking about jokes then laugh for nothing. Sometimes the simple thing likes jokes are needed to distracted them.

The atmosphere back to silence after a few minutes past. Both of them relax sit on the sofa while Turn on the music and do their activity. Pei yi who love watch cooking show to found new receipt, then Wella that love read her unfinished comic.

''Wella, will you always supporting and keep be my best friend or even sister whatever my decision in the future?'' Pei yi suddenly ask ambiguous.

Wella right away stop her reading put down the book, then looks quietly right to Pei yi listen strange question of her best friend. For while Wella just sigh and finally open her mouth.

''Then....I ask you back, will you do the same then..''

''Of course I will!'' Pei yi answering firmly without hesitate. ''You are the only who sincerely be friend and sister for me.''

''Then you already answer your own question.....'' Wella answering smile. ''As long as is right and not hurt to you. I will always supporting you.'' She smile showing her thumb pointing right to Pei yi.

Night getting late, each of them back to their room. While Pei yi just rolling on her bed, remember everything that happen in the afternoon. She can't get Adam's words get out of her head.

''I will responsible for everything. I'm not shameless Man and I'm not person that could stand rejectetion. You only have 1 choice - Except me!'' Piece of memories that spontaneously pomp out of her head remember every single word of his.

Meanwhile Wella that keep wake up and sit close the window staring full moon. Holding her phone and deep thinking staring the full moon try to make decision for her entire if life.

I just turn my gaze to my phone to make sure if what I decide is the right thing. My hand cold sweat feel hesitate, then suddenly I decide to press every single number of that guy give to me.

''Hello...it's me....I...''

''I know who you are, just said...'' The man across the line cut Wella words impatiently.

''Is your offering still valid?'' I ask curiously hope I know what I'm doing. "If yes, let's make a deal.'' I hope this is really a good decision.

One day when Wella realized everything already late. What her decision tonight will bring her to more big fate that already waiting for her.

In the morning at apartment

Pei yi wake little bit late this morning. She stretching her body then lazyly waking up from her bed.

''Oh God....it's 7 am!'' Pei yi startled see the watch beside her bed then rush to bathroom. Get any clothes as long as good, comfortable, and proper for use to go to work.

"Wella, have you wake up? I leave first because my schedule at 8 am today.'' Pei yi said to Wella knocking her door before leave the apartment.

Pei yi that in rush never realized if Wella already gone since early in the morning.

Meanwhile Adam that already stand beside his car all along waiting patiently in front of the gate.

''What are you doing?'' Pei yi surprised and confused seeing Adam here to pick up her.

''Just get in the car.'' Adam guide Pei yi get in the car and she even can't refuse remember times keep running making her late.
