Chapter 14 Could I trust you?

"Already pay off?'' Pei yi shocked with administration staff words than she staring each other with Wella.

''I'm not.'' Wella confirmed her best friend doubtful.

Pei yi then turned her gaze to administration staff and said thank you. The both chat each other again as usual talked about the mysterious person that payed their hospital bill. They even still not imagine if there is another surprised waiting them at the outside.

"What are you doing here?'' Pei yi disbelief about what she sees now. Adam with his great and good looking figure standing against his car. ''Isn't I asking you leave?''

''Yes, you asking me leave but it doesn't mean I'm leaving a mother of my child back home alone?'' Adam flirt to Pei yi openly while opening the door.

But, Pei yi that doesn't want being defeated easily just turned her body walked pass in front of Adam. She try to ignoring him and pulling Wella to walk fast. But, Adam grab Pei yils hand fastly and hod her likes princess put her at front sit beside him. Then, ask Wella to follow him get in the car at backsit.

After a long enough journey and awkward atmosphere inside the car for almost 40 minutes, they arrive at their apartment. Pei yi right away open the seatbelt in rush, but kind of difficult as before. While she almost pissed off, Adam help her open the seatbelt gently.

''Now is open.'' Adam smiled touch Pei yi head. While Wella just smile from outside when she is going to close the car door.

''Wella...let's...''

''Just go inside first, I'll be going with you. I have something to do.'' Wella refuse Pei yi hesitate and knows that she will be pissed off later.

''Up to you then.'' Pei yi turned away irritate.

After Pei yi really leave, Wella turned to Adam and look at him seriously. ''Could we talked now? take me to nearby cafe.'' Wella said firmly with her seriousness.

Pei yi secretly peeking them from her apartment window. She could see clearly that Wella go inside the car and with Adam. Even she not love Adam yet, but there something uneasy about her deep feeling. Something not right, in other hands there is anger towards Wella, but other also hate to see them.

''No...no....no.....what i'm thinking. It's not likes I'n his wife. He could go or date any women he likes. But,.....but...why it should be Wella.'' Pei yi feel weakened and pain inside of heart.

Gradually her tears fall slowly, this time for all the entire time she feel pain

from unexpected event. Her pain and bad mood feeling from her pregnancy make her rich stupid fantasy.

At the Cafe

''Isn't you want to know why she behave likes that?'' Wella open the conversation first to straight and finish everything fastly.

Adam didn't said a word, he just staring Wella seriously with curious expression that so easy could seen by Wella. Then he ask Wella to continue.

No wasting the time, Wella told everything to Adam. Starting from where Pei yi from, how rich her family and how her family treat her just because Pei yi born as a girl.

''Wait....wait...is Pei hi surname is Han? Han pei yi?''

''yes, how you know? don't tell me you are....''

''No....no....I'm not a detective or person that pay to find her.'' Adam right away clarify his identity.

''But, how you know her surename. I never told you about it or Pei yi told you before?'' Wella asking curious abnd feel doubtful about Adam true ittention.

''Maybe you could said faith or maybe me and her destined to being together. ''

Wella just listen quitely and wait for any explanation that could satisfied her and make sure Pei yi safety.

"2 years ago, my family have a partnership with one of Chinese company. My father feel interest with their daughter to being his daughter in law, but this family misunderstanding about my father meaning. It's true in my father tradition, there is fine to have more than 1 wife, but unfortunately my father is devoted husband whose love my mom deeply.'' Adam explain happily remind him about something good.

''Then....?'' Wella ask in rush likes will lose her patience.

''But, when they agree suddenly their daughter run away. My father of course very angry and end their partnership. But, I think after today he not gonna angry anymore. And his decision to end the partnership is good choice. Vicious family who sacrifice their own daughter for their own happiness not deserved at all.'' Adam irritate and little bit angry.

''Wait....I still don't understand.'' Wella confusing

''In short words, I'm his fiance that she left behind.''

Wella speechless can't find words to explain her shocked right now. ''Could I trust you?'' the only wird that Wella said to try not being deceived.

''Yes!'' he said firmly without hesitate at all.

''I will keep your word, but, If something happen to her. No matter where am I or how far am I....I'll make you pay everything!'' Wella deadly serious with real treat to Adam.

But Adam just look back serious at Wella and make sure He will definitely protect his own woman. ''Are you leaving?'' Adam suddenly realize something

''Yes, starting tomorrow. So please, take care of her. I leave her to you. She is the only sister I have right now.'' Wella get up from her Chair and bowing her head deeply.

"May I know where you going?'' Adam ask curiously

''Still in here just different place. why?'' Wella asking Adam back.

But Adam just shaking his head and then guide her to car after they finish their talk. Inside the car, Adam already imagine Yusuf face he found out his girl will leave again.
