The Invisible Entity

Now , this time we both heard cracking sounds.

" W- What was that? ". Jennifer asked me .

" I don't know. " , I said.

" Listen to me carefully. You will stay here and I will go inside and check if everything is ok or not and you will not come inside until I ask you to ". I said this after a pause. She nodded and I went inside . After checking the hall I went to the kitchen. I can say that my mind went numb when I entered the kitchen. Things were scattered all around the room. Taps were running, dishes and glass jars were broken. All the cupboard doors were open and some were broken. The window glasses were broken . Even the wallpapers were torn off. I could not even understand what to do. But then the first thought that struck my head was someone's presence in the house. I grabbed a metal handle and went upstairs cause I had already checked the ground floor .

I didn't find anyone. I had searched each and every room of the house but couldn't find anyone . I called Jennifer inside . She came in and when she went to the kitchen, her reaction was weird , like she was completely calm . She just kept staring at the room .

" Are you okay? " . I asked.

" Yeah! just a little tired so I will head up to our room ". She said. It was weird. But I didn't pay too much attention. ' WHO DID THIS?? I HAD SEARCHED THE WHOLE HOUSE BUT DIDN'T FIND ANYONE. THEN HOW DID THIS HAPPEN??' this thought kept moving in my head. I cleaned the room, made some coffee and went upstairs. Everything went normal for the next couple of days. But then Jennifer started behaving in a bit weird manner . Actually, her behaviour was weird. She started maintaining her distance from me. Sometimes she whispered to herself , sometimes she stared crying or laughing without any reason. Whenever I tried to talk to her , she would give some excuse to finish that topic there. This was too much for me to ignore , like how could I ?. Day by day things got worse. She had completely changed. She was not my Jennifer that I knew. She started picking up fights with me even on small matters. Things really turned for the worst when I came home that night from office and saw.....
