Blake's POV

Must I point everything out to her. I like her and all she could say was for us to end it. Just like that, she wants us to end something we have not even started. I'm so vexed and I didn't bother to hide it.

I went straight to my office without greeting Mandy or anybody. The only way to stop thinking about that cute demon was to work.

I have been paying attention to my work but I prefer paying attention to Clara. I started working and making calls. And I totally forgot about today's charity event. I need a date and I'm taking Clara. But what if she turns me down. I picked up the land phone and called Mandy . ''Get me Clara now .'' I still sound angry ''OK sir'' she replied with a low tone.

Five minutes later, I heard a knock on the door '' Come in '' and she came in looking beautiful. Her face and body ought to be illegal . '' You are following me to a charity event today. I will have Mandy give you orders on what to wear and do. '' she gave me a hard look.

''Sorry sir, but I'm not interested. I have things to do today '' I knew it. '' And what do you have to do today'' I asked her . ''My apartment is back to normal. So I'm going back there. And you don't command me. You ask me, not impose '' what the hell is wrong with this woman. ''You are not leaving my house. You are staying till we find your attacker . Do you even know what you are saying?'' And it's her turn to glare ''Mr Blake don't tell me what to do '' ok calling me Mr Blake is not polite right now. '' I wasn't Mr Blake yesterday'' and she turned red.

''Shut the hell up. We are at work and I'm not going with you '' Clara is being stubborn, let me play it cool.

''Babe, please follow me to the charity first and we will discuss the rest later. Just please follow me. '' I said cutely and the devil just rolled her eyes at me ''Ok, '' she said while moving towards the door . ''Wait a minute , you have to leave work by 1 to take care of yourself and do all what ladies do. Mandy is going to call the ones in charge. So you don't have to stress yourself . And please ma'am, tell Mandy to see me now'' I'm going to become so gentle with the way I'm going. '' Ok, I will call Mandy ''. and she left with a murderous look.

Mandy came in and she is looking at me with slutty eyes '' You need me? '' she said, biting her lips. If it was Clara's lips I would love to kiss it so badly but Mandy's lips biting looks annoying. '' Yea, I want you to contact Beauty Fashion Palace and book an appointment. Clara is going to be there by 1:30 and she needs to look best for tonight's event. She looks good everyday though'' I said with a wink and Mandy's face turned angry. '' Ok sir .''

''Tell Jodi to pick up Clara by 1. You can leave '' I said without looking at her.

I kept working and attended meeting with the Board of Directors. We are planning on making a introducing a new model of DB.Phones. It went well and some departments would get really busy as from the following week. And Clara's department would be super busy, so I have to make good use of this week to change her mind about us.

Jodi called me and informed me about Clara. He picked her up by 1. The event is starting by 7 so I planned on leaving work by 5. She is going to look super pretty tonight and I can't wait to see her.

''Hey buddy, watsup '' and when did Willy enter my office. ''Don't you knock?'' I sound pissed, he should try to knock.

'' I knocked but you didn't notice. You were smiling and kinda looked pussy- whipped ''he started wriggling his brows at me, gross.

'' What the fuck. No and what are you here for man. You have no work to do?'' I asked playfully .

'' I'm here for work. The lady you asked me to search for works in this company right. After trying to find her,I discovered she works here now. I have news about her and you might be interested '' I totally forget about asking Willy to find more about Clara. '' So what do you have ''.

'' She lost her parents in a plane crash when she was 18 and she has been training herself since then. She has a best friend named Tiffany and Tiffany's boyfriend Justin. She stays in Manhattan street and she as an ex named Billy. He is a drug addict. They were together for quite a long time but broke things up later to reasons best known to them. And lastly she is in danger '' how did will get all this information, I'm stunned.

'' She is in danger and I know it. That's why I'm trying to protect her. Thanks a lot buddy. ''I said gratefully.

''I have to get back to work dude. And I have a wife and a kid. '' he said with a wink. I have never thought of having babies but having them with Clara is not bad.

When it was exactly 5pm I left my office and started preparation for the event. I got my hair done and I chose a new Gucci tuxedo. I got home by 7:00. I took my time intentionally. I hated arriving early because those type of events are always boring.

I knocked and expected to see a beautiful Clara but I'm seeing something far better than beautiful. She is sexy, gorgeous, pretty ,fuckable or anything you can think of. She is wearing short black gown with tiny straps on her shoulder. The gown stopped mid thigh and her upper boobs are visible. Damn I want to suck those boobs again . I stood there dumbfounded.
