Well, Now What?

Claire might not be able to clock in yet but she could sit in the break room and wait for her heart rate to slow. The mad dash out of the house and from the bus stop to the inside of the pharmacy had been stressful.

Alex, who hadn't gone outside yet because they were the only ones in the building and he was unwilling to leave her alone, checked the footage from the time they had left the house to now. Nobody had left the van so it appeared that they managed to successfully fool the agents for the time being. The real question was how long that would last.

"Are you really going to be able to take them all on alone?" she asked worriedly.

He nodded. "As long as you stay inside, I should be. I make no guarantees if I have to watch your back as well as mine."
