Claire was having a hard time sleeping. Worries about Alex kept her up at night and then she would have nightmares about all of the close calls with death she'd had recently as well as possibilities about what might be happening to him right now.

She was struggling to focus on basic tasks too. After finishing every book in the house she tried to get back to learning how to draw but her focus was so terrible that trying to do the drawing exercises in her book took three times as long as before.

She blasted her music while deep cleaning the entire house but couldn't sing along even though she knew all of the words by heart. She could feel herself falling into the same sort of depression she had when her mom died.

Maybe she needed to go to therapy for this. But how could she explain harboring a killer? Would that fall under patient privilege or would a therapist be legally obligated to report that sort of thing?
