Bianca was not pleased that her plan to eliminate Claire Conway without anyone being the wiser hadn't panned out. Not wanting to use her Mafia ties in case they were traceable, she had reached out to the biggest underground hitman organization on the east coast since they were conveniently located not far from where the girl lived. 

Weeks passed with no results. She was running out of time so she sent some of her family's own men after Claire instead. 

Still nothing. None of them ever came back and one got arrested. 

It was obvious to her at that point that there was some sort of professional protection going on but she wasn't sure how that had happened until she met 'Alex Jorgensen.' To someone with experience, it was completely obvious he was carrying weapons on him at all times.
