If She Didn't Know Any Better...

The next morning Claire took care of the paperwork that needed to be done to start her new job before taking Alex to the four banks he needed to go to. There were branches either in Lexington or the nearby cities of Waltham and Arlington for all four.

They didn't quite have time to take the subway so she was forced to pay for parking near Copley Square. Carmen and Four were waiting for them near a park bench with a middle-aged man who had the facial scars she mentioned.

"Here they are," Carmen announced. "Do you have another identity for him that could work for Charles as well?"

Charles? Was that Four's original alias? Claire was confused.

Lenny smiled. "You're in luck—I got a new one in yesterday that is actually closer to your friend's age. Come on back to the convenience store with me and we can get this all sorted. However I will need $1500 cash for the inconvenience of making a new ID on top of the agreed-upon fee."
