Presents

The cinnamon rolls were coming out of the oven when they got back to the house  just in time for Claire to spread the frosting around evenly. Making frozen cinnamon rolls for breakfast on Christmas day was a tradition that she kept up even after her mom died because she could simply save the rest for later.

The kind she bought came in a six-pack so they would each get two. They would have hot chocolate in special Christmas mugs as well and then they could focus on opening presents afterward.

Ethan took off his boots and coat before setting his present down under the tree and joining them at the kitchen table for breakfast. He was practically bouncing with excitement and it was adorable.

The three of them dug into breakfast with gusto. It was obvious that neither of the males here had ever had a cinnamon roll before but they both seemed to really like it.

"Dish ish delishish," Ethan said with his mouth full, making Claire laugh.
