(Morning, 9:02 A.M)
Jill would walk down the street as the nice, morning breeze gently pushed against her cheek and as the warm sun-light bathed her skin.
'I tried to call Katsuya and see if he wanted to hang out, but he hasn't answered or called back. Is he busy? Or is he still sleeping'
Currently, she was on her way over to his house to hopefully wake him if he was sleeping. Though Jill knew that was a selfish decision, she really just felt like hanging out with him. Finally, she arrived at his apartment complex and walked her way up the stairs while his boots gently tapped the floor.
Tmp...Tmp..Tmp.
Stopping in front of one of the doors, she questioned.
"Apartment 23, this is it, right?"
His hand slightly lifted to knock but suddenly stopped when she noticed that the door was already opened a bit. His fingers pushed the door open and she called out.
"Hello? Katsuya? You here?"
First thing her eyes noticed when she walked inside was that the couch was thrown over and now laid on the floor. Next to it was shattered class, belonging to a mug.
'Gosh. Did he have a fit or something?'
Again, she would call out while she creeped around corners.
"Katsuya?"
It was nosy and some would see her 'Snooping around' as disrespectful but, she checked each room for him, just to make sure he was alright. But, he was nowhere to be seen.
"I guess he went out or something. But it really is weird why he wouldn't clean up his mess though."
JIlls reached into her pocket and whipped out her phone.
'I'll just leave him a message saying I stopped by…'
{ Hey Katsuya, I stopped by your place but you weren't here. Also, you left your door open and I happened to see the mess in your living room. Don't worry, I'll clean it up for you, since we're good friends. P.S I'm very sorry for the intrusion.}
{Message Sent]
As the message was sent, Jill put her phone away and gleaned at the flipped couch and broken glass.
"Guess I should clean this up now."
Her soft hands grabbed a hold of a broom, quickly sweeping up the broken glass before dumping it into the tash. Her knees bent down and with a single swipe of her hand, Jill had easily thrown the couch back on its feet.
As she patted the dust of her hand, she let out a breath of work.
"Gosh, the back of his couch is awfully dusty. Does he ever clean?"
At that second, it was as if her eyes were suddenly drawn to her side, where she hung on the wall. A picture that showed the young Katsuya, along with what Jill assumed was his father, mother and sister.
It was then, she realized something.
'I tend to know alot about all of my friend's lifes and everything but, there's really not one thing that I actually know about Katsuya. To be perfectly honest, I don't even know most of the little things, like his hobbies, his favorite color or birthday.'
A new goal had arrived into her consciousness. She wanted to get to know more about Katsuya than just him being an adventure. To her, many things about him were just a mystery.

(Location: ???)
Katsuya opened his eyes, only to find himels laying on a red couch in a dimly lit room. As he sat up, he placed his hand on his forehead while trying to recall what had happened.
'Where am I? ….'
That was when his memory flashed, the last thing he remembered was seeing two strangers in his home before he lost consciousness.
'....That's right. Was I kidnapped?'
A female voice spoke from the side in a welcoming manner.
"Oh, it looks like you're finally awake."
It was a female woman with red hair and red eyes who held a cup of coffee in her hand. A normal person would've been freaked out by the fact that they were kidnapped but, Katsuya could feel that there was no sign of hostility coming from the stranger. Though, he had no clue as to why he was brought here.
"Who are you supposed to be? And why the hell did you kidnap me?" He asked.
The woman slightly tilted her head and tapped her finger on her chin as if she were thinking.
"Kidnap? Hmmm, that's not the word I would use. I'd say you were borrowed. If you were kidnapped, you'd probably be tied up and locked away by now. But as you can tell, there are no restraints on you."
No matter how she put it, Katsuya was sure that borrowing a person without their permission was 'kidnapping'
'Yeah, that pretty much sums up what kidnapping is' He thought to himself before pitching out a question.
"Okay but, who are you?"
Her lips kissed the edge of the mug, sipping a smooth drink of coffee. As she finished, her hand placed the mug of the table in front of her.
"My name is Arisa. I am the leader of an organization, dedicated to revealing the government's un-fairness, hypocrisy, lies and scams. And I also know about you being a limit breaker"
Katsuya's eyes almost widened with shock at hearing that and he almost choked on his spit.
'How does she know?!'
Somehow, he still managed to keep a normal calm face. And so, his response to her was a quickly thought-up lie.
"What do you mean? There's no way I'm a limit breaker. I mean, if I was then I'd be famous or something, right?"
A slow and disappointed sigh had flown from Arisa's mouth. Her eyes had closed and she shook her head.
"Seriously, you can't fool me because I know for a fact that you're a limit breaker. You see, one of my members has a unique skill that can track down certain individuals who meet certain requirements. That is how I found you."
The secret of being a Limit-Breaker was something Katsuya didn't want sketchy people like her to know. So, he continued to play dumb.
"I hear what you're saying but, You've got the wrong guy. I'm not a Limit Breaker. I mean, I'm probably the weakest person to even exist."
"Hmmm. How unfortunate. It looks like I've got the wrong person." Arisa replied.
It was a little hard for him to believe but she believed his lies easier than he thought.
'Nice, she bought it.'
He blinked, losing sight of her as his eyes closed. A wind shook through-out the room. His eyes quickly opened back up to see an unexpected sight. Due to his reaction speed, he was only able to see for a split-second, Arisa had swung her fist, straight towards his face.
It was at a speed a little too fast. Fast enough that Katsuya didn't have a single second to think. His mind went blank and he only moved out of reflexes.
His leg brought him stepping to the side as he firmly grabbed ahold of Arisa's before throwing her towards the nearest wall.
Fwsh.
Crash. Crack.
His mind had just only realized what he had done but, it was already too late.
'Crap, I think I threw her too hard. That might've killed her'
Though she was merciless too monsters and had no guilt for killing them, killing another human wasd one thing he wanted to avoid at all costs.
His eyes stared at the red-haired woman whose body was deeply engraved within the wall.
'I guess she really is dead.'
Crack crack crack.
His eyebrows suddenly jolted with surprise. The wall cracked and fell apart and Arisa stepped from it, with no clear injuries. The only thing damaged on her was the clothes she wore. At any moment, Katsuya expected her to lunge at him with another fierce strike.
'Well at least she survived. But how?'
Though he hadn't even used close to half of his strength to throw her, it should've been enough to kill most adventurers which were at the lower scale in Silver-rank.
'This stranger is definitely strong.'
He waited and waited for another attack to be thrown at him but none ever came. Instead, the red-haired woman only giggled, followed by a sigh.
"And you expect me to believe you're just a normal person and not a Limit-Breaker? Not very few have the moves like what you just showed.
I, myself, am on the Level of a Legendary-ranker. Though my attack was a simple one, that fact that you countered it is a big deal on its own. And you expect me to believe that you're not the person I'm looking for?"
He was caught. There wasn't much he could say or do in order to persuade Arisa that he was not the 'Limit-Breaker' she has been searching for. The fact that he was even able to see her attack meant a lot.
'Looks like she got me. There's really nothing else I can do. Guess there's no point in lying any more' Katsuya thought to himself.
As if she hadn't gotten thrown just a couple seconds ago, Arisa calmly sat down and hooked a question onto him.
"So? You're not going to deny it?"
"Well, there'd be no point. Because you know for a fact that I'm who you're searching for. So, let's get straight to the point. Why do you want to recruit me to your origination."
After raising her cup to her lips and taking a quick sip, she stood back up.
Her feet brought her too gently pace around while she began explaining.
"There are lots of reasons but our target is the government. One day we plan to overthrow them. And to do that, we need numbers and power. You see, they've been doing their people wrong for long enough. The scams, The lack of care, the greed for money, manipulation. You name it."
But one major thing she hated was the way adventurers were paid. The brave people that make the decision to enter deadly dungeons and clear them, they weren't paid nearly enough for doing the jobs that the government alone could not do. The world that this place had become. A world where the government bribed citizens to fight. And countless adventurers had fallen, trying to get a paycheck which was underpaid. Sure, the amount of money seems like a lot on paper but, it wasn't near enough to make up for the many sacrifices innocent people made. And if you were exceptionally strong, being a 'LImit Breaker'
The government would have no issues twisting the strings to have you brought down if you refused to work for them. Unfortunately, not many knew this truth. Only the strong ones have found out the hard way.
And the list went on.
"This is our main purpose, to bring light onto the darkness." Arisa said with confidence. Then she asked "So, are you in? And don't worry, you won't be killed or anything if you refuse."
"Well, I won't lie. You're organization aeema to actually have good goals but….I have to refuse. The government and whatnot is really none of my business. As long as my family and friends are doing fine, I could care less about anything else."
The reaction of disappointment was shown across Arisa's face before she let out a sigh.
"I understand. Welp, before you leave , take this."
Her two fingers reached into her suit pocket and pulled out a card and held it out to him. As Katsuya grabbed it, he was quick to read what was written on it.
{ Skull | Cell Number: 781-921-604 }
"You're giving out business cards? That's a good way to get caught." said Katsuya.
"I don't just give them to anyone. Only individuals who catch my attention will get one."
"Well, thanks I guess. I should probably leave now. How do I get out of here?"
"Here, I'll call one of my high-rankers to escort you out."
A loud whistle left her lips and in that same instance, a shadow flickered and a man appeared at her side. A man with a black trench-coat and spiky black hair. Just at the sight of his fierce red eyes, Katsuya felt the great power, almost making him a bit unnerved.
'Talk about an entrance. This guy suddenly shows up and I can already feel his energy. If I had to guess, I'd say that I'm not even on par with him. Statistically, that is.'
Instead of commanding him as if he were just a member, she asked a favor like he was a friend.
"Thomas, can you escort our guest back to the surface, please?"
"Yeah. I got it." The man replied.
For a split second, Thomas shared a glaze with Katsuya before leading him out of the room.
