Measured....Wow!

{The Speculation I have is due to the appendix and the ability to use magic that the individual has trained past normal human levels, this is only possible due to the long life span here.}

After knowing that he would have to further investigate magic he decide to get some rest.

Waking up thinking that yesterdays events were a dream he soon became aware it wasn't.

Leo remembers about a dream he had, about being in a the depths of what appeared to be a dungeon talking to someone vaguely remembering the guy having horns looking with very serious expression on his face he was sat in a chair of flames, but the person looked unfazed by this.

Leo looks out the window to his amazement he saw 2 moons and the sun rising, he thought about this coming to the conclusion, just because it a parallel world doe'st mean everything will be similar, simply for one there was magic and creature's he had never seen before.

After thinking about what he was going to do today he decide to find out more about magic and the way of the world.

Shortly after getting dressed he looks at himself in the mirror to make sure his respectable, he quickly breathes into his hand thinking that he will be talking to a lot of people he realizes that his breath is quite smelly. He walks into the bathroom to see if there is a tooth brush to only find a device their looking like a small pen but with a spiky end, after picking it up and looking at it for a moment he decides to use it as a tooth brush, simply because he has nothing else to use and no tooth paste.

After putting it his mouth and brushing for a moment he feels the saliva in his mouth becoming paste like the sensation was weird, he pulled it out his mouth to see what was happening and all the paste came rushing out with it swirling around the object fascinated by this he decided to rinse it noticing that the paste was like tooth paste he realized this was basically a magic tooth brush.

This was quite a relief as the thought of not brushing his teeth was unbearable.

Shortly after leaving the room and walking down stairs Lizzie spoke to leo just before he left the inn.

"What you doing today is there anything i can help you with?"

Leo pauses for a moment and thinks about what he had heard about the hunter's association, remembering about the the tablet and eye and about recording.

"Lizzie where's the Hunter's association?"

Lizzie confused by this as normally all hunters go to the association first thing getting here.

"Its the building at the far end of the barrack's the one with multiple floors"

Still finding it strange that he asked the question.

"Are you a hunter Leo?"

Leo thinking for a moment its best to answer honestly here.

"No i'm not, to be honest i'm not familiar with any of the customs or ways around here as i've traveled far to get here."

After hearing this a sudden excitement came about Lizzie as she rushed around the desk to talk to him.

"So you haven't been measured yet? also you don't have any idea about what type you are and category?"

Leo simply answered

"No not at all."

Lizzie in her excitement asks.

"I'll go with you, i love watching people get tested."

Leo agrees by nodding his head.

After quickly putting a sign up saying will be back soon they both walk up to the association building, getting much closer Leo realize how much bigger it is when he's close its over 350ft (116.5m) in height which towered the other buildings around it the scale of the layout was amazing to see as well covering over 10000sqft (3333sqm).

The door is a open archway very decorated with two stone swordsman in full armor holding their swords crossed in the center making the archway.

There were to guards outside as Lizzie walked up to them she greeted them both.

"Hey, guys so this here is" realizing she had forgotten Leo name she went all red in her cheeks.

"It's Leo" smiling as he answered, this only caused Lizzie to blush further.

Regaining her composure she moves on with the conversation.

"He needs to get measured?"

The two guards ears pricked up looking past Lizzie looking Leo up and down.

"He's never been measured?"

"Nope" with a grin on her face with excitement."

"Excuse me, Leo are you from around here?"

"No i'm not i've traveled far to come to here" Leo says this with a confident tone."

"Ok please come with us."

As they all walk towards the building and through the arch way.

{Alert we have just been scanned.}

Hearing this Leo wonders what just happened but he notices the two guards take a brief look at him and at the statues, they almost seemed to smile with relief, after reverting there gaze.

Leo is puzzled by this.

"Any idea what it was scanning for Command."

{I'm sorry inconclusive data.}

Leo hearing this walks on in with caution.

A man with black leather on with the armor covering it walks toward him greeting him.

"Hi' i'm the commander here, i over heard that your going to get tested and that youra foreigner do you have any papers?"

Leo panicked unknown what to do answers

"No sorry, i don't have no papers"

"Then i'm afraid you can't be scanned sorry."

At this moment Leo has no idea what to do but agree, turning around he sees a familiar face it's Brad walking in behind him.

"Is there a problem here?"

"This man does not have papers so i have refused him to be scanned."

"I'm his papers now scan him."

Hearing Brad who is normally really friendly talk this way was Shocked Leo, making him wonder just who Brad was to order a commander about like this.

"Yes Legion."

He was shocked further too see him address him with the words legion.

Following brad into a room with a huge crystal in its center with a small pillar about waist height with what appeared to be mirrors all around the room.

Brad speaking in a more serious tone.

"Leo will you please go stand in front of the pillar and place your hand on it."

Leo walks up to the pillar as he stands in front of it a glow below his feet appears, he then places his hand on the pillar watching to see what happens, the glow intensifies then a ring appears around his waist.

{Alert scan detected, unknown scan no data to what type this is but it appears to be testing the brainwaves and fluctuations of the atoms in your body.}

Everybody's eyes watched in anticipation for the measurement and type to appear.

What happened next was truly frightening to Brad.

No numbers appeared just a single symbol glowing in front of him just above his head, the symbol for infinite and then the large crystal glowed and showed nothing it glowed and went blank.

Lizzie not able to contain her excitement.

"Huh, What does that mean?"

As she turns toward Brad, she sees the shock and disbelief on his face.

Turning back towards Leo she looks at him thinking so what does it mean?

Brad after a moment regains his composure.

"The measuring is compete please follow me."

Leo takes his hand off the pillar and follows Brad intrigued to find out what it all meant.

They walked out the room back into the foyer and towards some stairs to one side they went up the stairs and entered what appeared to be a large training area there were stands with various weapons on and armor stands with various suits of armor on.

There were another set of stairs that we went up, we got into living quarters the layout was set out in rows of long corridors with a central corridor being wide than the others.

Walking down the corridor we came to another set of stairs the next floor looked like a library but the shelf's were full of black stone looking tablets all the same

with a numerical system below them there was a central desk with one person sat at it writing something into a book.

Walked past the man with Brad saying hello to another set of stairs reaching the next floor there was nothing but a desk and a chair in the room the walls were all windows floor to ceiling.

Brad walked to the chair sitting down.

"Take a seat Leo."

Leo puzzled looked around seeing nothing, a chair materialized from the floor, looking back at Brad.

"Is this magic."

"Yes it is, you truly have never seen magic and no nothing of this world, with all the questions you asked me the other night."

Leo looked back at the chair and sat down thinking to him self the chair could crumble at any moment.

"So Leo let me explain."Brad said in a rather humble voice.

"We will start with your type, I've never seen Blank and I've measured every person on the continent and I also have reports from every other continent on the the measurements."

"So I don't know what it quite means but it is definitely unique like my own, legion is my type I can manipulate the shadows into coming alive at the moment I control around 3000 shadow soldiers they are limited in power but the sheer number is overpowering."

Leo surprised what was just told to him, he had so many questions about magic floating around his head, staying quite Brad carried on.

"Lizzie's type is vines which is as it sounds she can make vines appear from any surface."

Leo wondering for a moment as to why each person had a limited type.

"The reason why each person has one type is set at birth as each person's can only hold a certain type of matter."

Hearing this explanation at least one question was partially answered.

"Now I'll talk about the the symbol so there is normally a number showing like my own at 50000 and Lizzie's is 32000, the symbol that was shown if you don't know is infinity I don't know how to explain this but basically you can draw upon and store as much magic as you desire."

Leo new what the symbol meant but the explanation behind what it meant for him was quite unbelievable.

"You're quite the interesting fellow." Brad laughing as he said this "You walked in my shop in blood stained clothes and not knowing anything about the world."

"Where are you from?"

Leo paused for a moment thinking about how to answer.

"If I could tell you that I would but, I woke up on this continent not remembering a thing I managed to run and dodge the creatures on the way here but the only thing I can remember is my name." he said this with a very calm attitude trying to be sincere as possible.

Brad burst into laughter. " Well I'll tell you one thing you ain't anything from the helm because if you were you would have blown to bits in the entrance."

Leo then understood what the scan was for to check the difference between him and the creatures.

"So Brad how do I find out what I can do?" laughing back at Brad as he says this.

"Well there is a couple of training methods we can try to see what you can do."

Leo smiling at his response.

"When can we try the methods?"

Leo eager to try and figure out what he can do.

Brad saying in a calm voice.

"We can try them now if you would like."

Leo excited nods in agreement.

Brad stand up and walk around the table and says "Follow me" walking past Leo they went down to the Training floor.

Brad told Leo to wait near a bench to one end of the room whilst he went of rummaging through a cupboard coming back with five clear balls all filled with something.

Brad set them all on the table in a circle.

Leo looking at these in amazement at what he was seeing.

There were five spheres all transparent the first was filled with water the next was a fire with the flame sloshing about like water, the next had a dark substance in it doing the same sloshing around.

The next which was bizarre was lighting which was bouncing around inside the sphere, the final one which was strange also with how it was moving was earth.

Brad spoke eagerly.

"Can you wave your hand over each of these whilst thinking about the matter inside."
