Chapter 181: Can we touch you?

Elize woke up to shouts. They were shrill voices, but she caught a few familiar ones among them. As soon as she opened her eyes, the noise stopped. She could see that children were standing around her, peering down at her with curiosity. Ayre and Nym had their backs to her, spreading their hands out protectively in front of them. It looked like they were trying to keep the children from getting to her. 

"What time is it?" She asked, suppressing a yawn with her hand. 

She was lying down on the ground with Lloyd's coat covering her warmly. She pulled the soft cloth around her shoulders as she sat up lazily. She was still feeling sleepy. She wondered how she ended up sleeping on the ground. Hadn't she slept on his chest while sitting up? Elize thought in confusion. And the kelpie in question was nowhere to be seen. 

"It's probably afternoon," Ayre said, turning back to face the children.
