Chapter 191: Fighting to stay alive

"No! No no no no!" Elize screamed in horror.

Zack's body fell limp against the bed with a thump. Elize looked at her blood-covered hand. In it was a small fist-sized organ, spurting the last few drops of blood from it. The metallic stench of blood filled the air, making her feel sick from her stomach. A muffled whimper escaped her mouth as hot tears streamed down her face. 

All of a sudden the walls of the room started to cave in. The windows shattered and the ceiling crashed down. But Elize was oblivious to all of this. She was staring at the flesh in her hand that she could not seem to let go. She was too shocked to even turn her head that she hadn't realized that the illusion had completely vanished. A dead vampire lay before her with a huge hole in its chest.
