She couldn't understand why the brownies were suddenly running. Their screams made her head ache. Elize pressed both her palms against her ears. She didn't know why the world was spinning around her. She had had nothing but the honey that the brownies had offered her, she thought as she looked around, squinting her eyes to see what was happening before her.
Strangely her throat was feeling dry again. She wanted to have more of that honey. But she had drunk everything that they had offered to her. Elize scratched her neck, feeling sticky. She was feeling too hot once again. The honey had helped her once. But how could she ask for more if everyone was running away from the clearing?
"Hey!' Elize shouted, shaking her finger at them. "Stop runneeeeeeng!" She slurred.
