Chapter 238: A wolf in heat

Elize stepped into the dress, balancing herself by holding onto one of the maids' shoulders. Her dress had arrived in the morning as soon as she had woken up. She didn't have the time to step out of her room even once after breakfast. The elves were thorough in glamming her up and weren't forgiving when she insisted that she wanted to have lunch. 

She felt raw after her skin was scrubbed and polished by some expensive-looking tools that she had never seen before. And thanks to that, she now smelled like an exquisite bouquet. To her annoyance, her hair was pulled again and again until it somehow was wrapped around the back of her head.
