Chapter 265: The bad news

Elize turned back to see a fuming Aerin standing behind her, with flustered soldiers trying to block her way. But the girl was quicker. She quickly kneed two of the female elves and knocked down another. From what it looked like, Aerin wasn't a bad fighter. But neither were the soldiers. They were trained in combat and elves were adept at fighting. Though they were nervous, more came forward to stand in the place of the fallen ones, who were rubbing their injuries and slowly getting up. 

"Stay back if you all want to keep your jobs." Aerin threatened, shaking her finger at the soldiers. 

They looked torn. The woman standing in front of them was the daughter of their master and the one standing behind them was a guest held in high esteem by the prince. They were ordered to lay their lives down to protect her. They looked between the two women, in confusion. 

Elize sighed. "It's okay. Let her come." She said, waving towards the elves.
