Elize watched Zack pace back and forth the room restlessly. The vein on his forehead was sticking out angrily. His handsome face was painted in a blank expression, telling eons of his state of mind to everyone present. Alarmed by her father's statement, he had sent his mother back to the pack house with a heavy guard, dispersing all the guests from the head witch's garden. 

On the other hand, Viktor was shut in the cellar beneath Aileen's house. Seeing that the witch herself was missing, the tension in the group remained high even as they waited in her drawing-room for her return. Seeing how Meifeng had safely retired to Elize's mansion with a drunk Alex, they thought it best not to disturb the newlywed couple on their wedding night.
