Chapter 382: Was that all you had?

Her silky fur shone like whitest of snow even in the cloudy night, speeding through the edge of the flowing stream like a bolt of lightning. Those who didn't know of the likes of her would claim that all they felt was a gush of wind. And anyone who saw her rushing through the grassy riverbank would not be able to forget the sight of the white wolf whose every movement was grace personified. 

Elize narrowed her eyes as she approached the border. Long gone were the days when wolves and witches used to patrol these places. Tonight there wasn't a soul out and about, save for the Luna. She slowed down, moving to her left to take the cover of the forest. Though she could see that the grassy patch beyond the barrier was isolated, she didn't want to take her chances of getting spotted. She needed the element of surprise to gain the upper hand.
