Chapter 440: It's you

Taking one last look at the two dozen children sleeping on and around the huge bed, Luna stepped out of the room with a relieved expression. Although she had spent way too much magic than she had planned to spend tonight, she felt that it was worth it. 

Maybe it was because they unconsciously prayed to her during every full moon. She felt partly responsible for these innocent lives. She couldn't leave the kids be to have a traumatic experience ruin their entire childhood. 

She was just closing the door to the mud house when suddenly she heard the soft crunch of footsteps on broken branches. Her hands froze as the destiny stone began to pulse. A thousand emotions rushed into her head, wrapping around her entire consciousness like an electric coil that was strangely making her feel body tremble with every breath she took.
