The goddess winced at the accusation. So that's what they thought about her now. Being called a witch wasn't so bad, but such an identity would probably cost her her life on this island, she thought, frowning at the image that flashed in her mind. Though she was immortal, such an incident could possibly push her plans back a few inches once again. 

"Guard your tongue, Vera!" The alpha's voice rose, his hands clenching into fists in anger. 

The darkness that surrounded him blazed high like a wildfire, making him appear like a wild animal set on tearing everything in his path apart with his bare hands. Luna covered her mouth with her hands, trying to suppress a gasp. She had never seen it like that before.
