Chapter 502: Executing the plan

The Enrouf Manor was bustling with activity even at that hour of the night. With the moon rays penetrating the busy corridors, and the dozen open rooms, she could see quite clearly from where she sat, though humanly impossible. 

Luna leaned back against the tree trunk, languidly swinging her one leg in the air as she stretched the other against the high branch of the giant willow tree that she was sitting atop. She was wide awake after all the sleep that she had gotten earlier that day.

By the time the guards awoke from their slumber, she was already snuggled inside her blanket, knowing full well that the old maid would do her part in tonight's plan. She had left it to Martha to figure out the details of it. She was sure that the woman lacked no imagination, especially since the stakes were so high.
